Ana Navarro slammed Florida Governor Ron DeSantis for 'racist s**t' after controversial PragerU curriculum was approved to be taught in Florida schools

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Ana Navarro is unarguably the most active host of ‘The View’ when it comes to Twitter and politics, with Alyssa Farah Griffin being a close second. As the summer hiatus of ‘The View’ began, Navarro’s social media focused more on her time in the Hamptons and less on politics but recent events have changed that.

The controversial change in Florida schools' curriculum has been in the headlines prior to the focus shifted to Donald Trump. Florida Governor Ron DeSantis has been at the center of scrutiny after he claimed that Black people benefited from slavery, as per the Washington Post. According to WUFT, the controversial PragerU school curriculum has been approved for Florida classrooms.

‘This offensive stupidity’

A picture, which is being circulated online shows a glimpse of the PragerU curriculum and has a picture of an animated Christopher Columbus with the following text, “One PragerU children’s video features Christopher Columbus explaining to 21st-century children that they shouldn’t judge him for enslaving Native Americans because slavery was common in his day and ‘being taken as a slave is better than being killed.’”

Several people, including California Governor Gavin Newsom, have shared this image. Navarro, who has opposed DeSantis for the longest time and often called him "Ron DeSaster", has also shared the image of a supposedly animated blue-eyed Christopher Columbus. Navarro wrote, “This offensive stupidity is part of the Prager U curriculum adopted in FL under DeSantis. One of the many reasons I will celebrate when he is humiliated and his reputation tarnished beyond repair in these elections.”

Ana Navarro breaks her vacay streak on Instagram

Navarro last posted about Trump nearly 4 days ago on her Instagram after his third indictment. After that, ‘The View’ went on a summer hiatus as Season 26 ended and Navarro headed to the Hamptons for some leisure time with her best friend. Her Instagram over the last few days reflected her summer break, however, in light of the new PragerU curriculum, Navarro has broken her streak of summer vacation photos and talked about DeSantis whose administration has approved the change.

Navarro shared the same image of an animated Columbus with the text as she wrote, “Unbelievable. This is the racist s**t that is part of the Prager U curriculum adopted by DeSantis Dept of Education. Disgraceful. I can’t wait for him to be humiliated and his political career tarnished beyond repair in these elections. We’re gonna have to tolerate him for another three years in FL, but at least the rest of America will be spared.”
