A self-confessed "homewrecker" who apparently loves dating married men has shared her tips on how to understand whether your partner is cheating this holiday season.

Instagram model Amy Kupps, 32, of North Carolina, has revealed the "red flags" you should look out for ahead of Christmas to see if he's having an affair. According to The Sun, research indicates that cheating is set to spike during the festive season, especially at drunken office parties. The newspaper cited a recent survey by AYRE Event Solutions that showed how 14% of Brits had kissed a colleague.

Kupps, who boasts more than 83,000 followers on Instagram, considers herself an expert in the art of extramarital affairs after having split from her cheating ex-husband. “No one ever wants to think their boyfriend or husband is cheating on them but there can be lots of subtle signs you would never normally notice," Kupps told Jam Press. “Also, a woman’s intuition is the most powerful tool in your arsenal, if you suspect there is something going on, follow your gut. Chances are you’re right and he is up to something.” The social media personality shared what she believed were the most prominent red flags and changes to look out for in your partner.

Being too nice

Kupps believes if your partner starts being nicer than usual out of the blue, that could mean they are up to some mischief. “There are the obvious ways like being overly pleasant, especially if he’s not normally attentive," she said. “Something else is he starts buying you random gifts that he doesn’t normally do, like flowers or jewelry. For me, that’s a huge red flag." According to her, if your partner is buying you expensive gifts for no apparent reason, it could be a sign they are "sharing their own with someone else."

Forgetful behavior

Kupps believes if your partner is not listening to you attentively or keeps forgetting to fulfill important commitments, it could be a major red flag. “One point that I think many people overlook is when their other halves become suddenly forgetful," Kupps told Jam Press. “It usually means their mind is elsewhere and you don’t have their full concentration.”

Frequent showers

The social media guru said that if your partner is suddenly showering more often and shaving his private parts, it is cause for concern. “Is he showering more than usual? Slapping on the aftershave and suddenly shaving his balls and crotch? For me that’s a big cause for concern," she said. “You have to ask yourself why they’re washing so much and if it’s to get rid of any unsavory smells like a woman’s ‘scent’ or their perfume.”

Style changes

Kupps said that if your partner drastically changes their appearance or starts spending more time on how they look, and it's not usual for them to do, beware. She noted that it was an even bigger red flag if it happens specifically on weekdays and they've spoken of a new colleague at the workplace. “Ironed or fresh clothing, maybe they’ve started wearing new clothes or making more effort," Kupps said. "These things sound obvious and sometimes it’s purely innocent but if he’s getting dressed up to go out when you’re not around, then it’s time to wonder why.”

Phone behavior

The certified "homewrecker" also warned about one's partner guarding their phone closely or grabbing it whenever they leave a room. “If your other half starts going everywhere with his phone, gets funny if you touch it, and always leaves it face down, this is a big red flag that they’re cheating," Kupps insisted. “Another thing to check is if they clear their browsing history after using a laptop, tablet, or phone. What are they looking at that they don’t want you to see?” she added.
