Amy Duggar welcomes first child with Dillon King, says he is 'absolute perfection'
Reality TV star Amy Duggar King and Dillon King welcomed their baby boy on Wednesday, October 9. The pair shared a picture of them holding their baby boy and captioned the image as, "He's absolute perfection!!!" The couple have named their little one Daxton Ryan King. Amy opted for a C-section as it was advised by her doctor as there were chances of an emergency situation arising. Taking to her Instagram stories, Amy showed that her hospital room was decorated with balloons and flowers.
She also added that "Dax was doing wonderful. He is super sweet." She further expressed her love for her newborn son and noted, "we are completely in love with him." Speaking to People, the pair revealed Dax weighed 7 lbs., 8 oz., and measured 20 inches. Loren Bullard, who took the photograph of the family after Dax's birth noted that both, the mother and the son were doing good.
“Smooth and easy delivery,” she said. “Both mom and baby are great and healthy!”Amy noted that she was always keen on being a mother to a boy. “I’ve always wanted to be a boy mom! Dillon builds lifted trucks, so I can just imagine how suped-up the Power Wheels will be,” she said.
Amy has shared her pregnancy journey with her fans until the birth of her child. Amy shared the news about her pregnancy in April with an image of her and Dillon balloons that spelled out "Baby". "BABY KING IS ON THE WAY!!! Happy Easter from our growing family to yours!!," she noted in the post.
The couple revealed that they were expecting a baby boy in June with a quirky gender reveal idea. The pair clicked a picture with blue feathers flying up in the air as the couple embraced each other with a kiss. Amy captioned the picture stating, "it's a boy". Fans were quick to pour in their sweet messages after Amy shared a picture of Dax.
"Love that blanket you have on yours! 💖 Congrats to you both!!!!," one fan noted. Another fan chimed in adding, "Oh my goodness, he's so precious!!😊 Congratulations Amy & Dillion!! Happy Birthday, Daxton!!" Amy's cousin, Jill Duggar also visited the hospital and shared a picture with Dax.
