'I’m scared of him': Amy Duggar says her teething toddler Daxton is a ‘ticking time bomb’
TONTITOWN, ARKANSAS: Reality TV star Amy Duggar King recently described the difficulties of motherhood and admitted her son Daxton is driving her crazy. Amy welcomed Daxton with her husband Dillon King in October 2019.
The 36-year-old ‘Counting On’ alum vented her frustration in a slew of Instagram stories on December 21. "I’m exhausted," Amy stated while making a video in her car. "I am also wearing the exact same thing that I wore last night to shop because I’ve gotten two hours of sleep." She went on to reveal that her three-year-old is the reason behind her sleep loss. "For all the mamas out there, my little guy is cutting his molars in," she continued. "He's teething extremely bad."

Amy claimed that a lot is happening with Daxton’s growing body these days. She said he is always hot, drooling more, and pulling on his ear. She even noticed him trying to bite his clothes to ease his pain, she said. "He’s kind of a ticking time bomb if I’m being perfectly honest," she shared. "I’m a little scared of him right now, because most of the time he’s like, really sweet and fun," Amy concluded her rant by asking her followers for any advice on how to ease his pain. "I want to comfort him and love him, but he’s kind of scary."
Amy is a proud mother who never lets go of a chance to share her son’s antics on social media. She recently sparked a debate on Instagram after she shared a short clip of her son cutting apples with a sharp knife. Throughout the clip, Daxton's fingers were nowhere close to the blade and Amy encouraged him from nearby. "3 years old ladies and gentlemen! I’m sure I’m going to get flack for this video, but he has been cutting his own apples pouring his own milk, using glass cups, and taking dishes to the sink," Amy wrote in the caption.
She also revealed Daxton often cooks bacon with his father and is learning new kitchen skills every day. "I’m just so proud of him! He’s growing up before my very eyes. We have taught him that knives are only to be used with mommy and daddy and he is very careful," she added. Earlier, Amy also claimed Daxton randomly throws butter knives in the house. "Butter knives tick him off. He throws them. He's like, 'This is not a real knife' and he throws them," she said.
