Idaho murders: Bryan Kohberger's neighbor reveals last text message he received from him

MOSCOW, IDAHO: Bryan Kohberger's neighbor recently revealed to 'Crime Stories' anchor Nancy Grace the details of his final communication with the alleged University of Idaho murderer.
Grace visited Moscow, Idaho, the scene of the quadruple homicide, and Kohberger's home in Pullman, Washington. She was informed by a neighbor that Kohberger sent him a text message wishing him for Thanksgiving, 11 days after the murders. The neighbor showed Grace the message, which read, "Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family," per Crime Online.

Kohberger, 28, was arrested and taken into custody early morning on Friday, December 30, 2022, in connection with the murders of four University of Idaho students. Moscow Police revealed that his DNA connected him to the scene of the crime. He is a resident of Pullman, Washington and was pursuing a PhD in criminology at the Washington State University. He was attending classes while the Moscow police were desperately looking for a suspect in the Idaho murders. Kohberger took courses by the famed forensic psychologist Katherine Ramsland.
According to law enforcement sources, Kohberger was seen traveling across the country in the white Hyundai Elantra linked to the murders. Sources reportedly claimed that police were keeping tabs on him when he was driving and were also watching his parents' house in Pennsylvania. Before his arrest, an FBI surveillance team followed him for four days as law enforcement and prosecutors tried to establish enough probable cause to obtain a warrant. He was apprehended in Scranton, Pennsylvania.The first question he asked was, "Anyone else arrested?" Soon the police confirmed that his DNA matched the crime scene and that they had been on his tail days before bringing him in, as per Crime Online.
According to the probable cause affidavit, Kohberger was detained and charged with four counts of first-degree murder and felony burglary. Neither his motive nor his familiarity with the slain victims, Kaylee Goncalves, 21, Xana Kernodle, 20, and Ethan Chapin, 20, Madison Mogen, 21, has been established by the police yet. He is in prison sans bail.
