Amir Khan's wife Faryal Makhdoom seems earned the wrath of the Internet after she posted a picture of her post-baby body just a week after giving birth to a baby girl in April. The mother-of-two looked absolutely fabulous as she posed in a salwar kameez and showed off her sleek body in the social media post.
She captioned the post, saying, "A week after giving birth — what do you guys think?" The 26-year-old was clearly fishing for compliments on her new look, but instead received quite a mixed bag of comments from her 860,000 followers, who couldn't decide whether to criticize her for her boastful nature or congratulate her on her post-baby body.
One critic said: 'Faryal looks amazing and hats off to her, but so many young girls look up to her who won’t lose there [sic] baby fat as fast as she did, I hope they do it sensibly.'
Another said: 'Be real.. u look fab.. but this is not the reality for most.. Plus women shouldn't feel pressurised to be superslim immediately after giving birth.. Giving birth is a blessing and should embrace the process and their bodies - and lose weight as and when they are ready.'
However, there were others who absolutely loved the traditional white embroidered outfit, and went on to congratulate Makhdoom for her style and beautiful features.
One follower said: 'You look amazing — wish I could be so stylish after becoming a mama', while another quipped: 'You're looking hot'.
Makhdoom's return on social media comes only a few days after she gave birth to daughter Alayna, who is her second daughter with boxer Amir Khan. The proud daddy announced the news on social media on April 24, even revealing the newborn's name in his announcement.
The couple has another girl, three-year-old daughter Lamaisa, who is frequently seen in her parents' social media accounts.
