AMORY, MISSISSIPPI: Trent Harmon is all set to become a father to a baby girl. The 'American Idol' Season 15 winner took to his Instagram on Sunday, May 21, 2023, to announce that he and his wife Kathleen are expecting their first child together. "We are so excited to meet you, Baby Girl," the singer-songwriter wrote in the caption of a heart-warming post.
In the post, Harmon shared a slew of romantic sun-soaked pictures of the couple posing in a field. The ‘There’s a Girl’ singer opted for a casual look in a plain T-shirt and dark jeans, while Kathleen radiated charm in a gorgeous flowing white dress, decorated with delicate blossoms. The celebratory pictures also featured ultrasound pictures of their future baby. One adorable snap captured Harmon and Kathleen holding an adorable little frock, confirming that the couple is expecting a baby girl.

When Trent Harmon and Kathleen get married?
A couple of weeks ago, Kathleen posted more images from the same photoshoot on her social media. In honor of Mother’s Day, she shared another set of pictures with her mother, where she was seen flaunting her blossoming baby bump. “Happy Mother’s Day Mom! Thank you for being my best friend. I can’t wait to see you be Grammie to a baby girl! Love you!” the soon-to-be mother wrote in the caption. Harmon exchanged vows with Kathleen, who was his longtime girlfriend, in the fall of 2019, according to Amomama.
The singer celebrated their union with a touching picture of the couple kissing in front of the Davidson County Courthouse, where he referred to his significant other as his wife for the first time. Later, he released a piece originally written by Kathleen, stating that the couple wanted to be married early after becoming engaged in order to avoid a protracted long-distance relationship. Unfortunately, their wedding was postponed until September 12, 2020, due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
Following the marriage announcement, Harmon shared a touching video on social media, showing the morning preparations, the photoshoot, and other significant events from their wedding day.

The 'Chandelier' singer shot to fame after winning the 15th season of "American Idol" in 2016. He was then signed by Big Machine Records, and in December 2016, he released his debut self-titled EP, which included his Top 30 hit 'There's a Girl' and four more songs. However, he soon parted ways with his record label before being re-signed in 2017. In February 2018, he released the single 'You Got 'Em All', which eventually became the title track for his debut album, released on May 18, 2018. In March 2023, Harmon released a live version of his chartbuster song ‘HeartBeat’.
