Amber Heard returned to the stand on Thursday, May 26, to discuss the consequences of Johnny Depp's lawsuit on her life, and she gave an emotional speech recounting the online hatred she has received. As the trial approaches its last day, Amber Heard sobbed in court as she reminded jurors that ‘I am a human being.’ Since the trial began, the 'Aquaman' actor has received thousands of death threats, including threats like throwing 'my baby in the microwave,” according to Amber Heard.

Heard told the court in her second round of oral testimony that she and her friends now had to follow a set of rules to avoid panic attacks as a result of her trauma. She said, "I am harassed, humiliated, threatened every single day. Even just coming into this courtroom sitting here in front of the world having the worst parts of my life, things that I have lived through, used to humiliate me. People want to kill me, they tell me so... they want to put my baby in the microwave and they tell me that. "

Meanwhile, Heard has a one-year-old daughter, Oonagh Paige Heard, whom she welcomed via surrogate, but she has kept the identity of the father a secret. Heard also added, "I'm not sitting in this courtroom snickering, I'm not sitting in this courtroom laughing. I'm not smiling and making snide jokes. I'm not. This is horrible. This is painful and this is humiliating for any human being to go through. And perhaps it's easy to forget that, but I am a human being. Even though Johnny promised I deserve this... I do not deserve this. I want to move on."

Heard went on to say that she wanted to reclaim her voice and that she had the right as an American to speak her story and express the truth. As she faced cross-examination from Depp's legal team, the actress stated that a lot of people have come out of the woodwork to be a part of the Johnny Depp show, and was accused of labeling earlier witnesses liars. Judge Penney Azcarate also told spectators in the public gallery not to make remarks during Heard's evidence, adding that if the disruptions continued, the court would be vacated.

Heard told the court, "In the harassment the humiliation, the campaign against me that's echoed every single day on social media and now in cameras in this room. Every single day I live this trauma. My hands shake, I wake up screaming…my friends have to live with a set of unspoken rules about how not to scare me, how to not touch me, not surprise me.” "Intimate partners have rules about how they can touch me. I have rules about medical professionals….gynecologists I see - for me not to have a panic attack or triggering event, where I relive the trauma, even if I'm training for a movie, 'Aquaman 2'. A trigger happens and I have a meltdown, I have to deal with that because of the damage I have,” she remarked.

Meanwhile, Depp once again denied the claims of abuse brought by Heard and said he had ‘spoken up for what I have been carrying on my back reluctantly for six years.’ Depp is suing Heard over a 2018 Washington Post piece in which she wrongly implied that he physically and sexually assaulted her when they were together, according to his attorneys. All charges have been brought against him, and he has rejected them all. After six weeks of testimony from various members of the family, friends, coworkers, and medical specialists, closing arguments in the 50 million dollar case are anticipated on Friday, May 27.
