Amber Heard has been quite vocal about her bisexuality and recently, she was photographed kissing a woman in Palm Springs, California. Soon, the mystery woman was identified as Bianca Butti, a Los Angeles cinematographer, who was diagnosed with breast cancer for the second time last year.
A string of pictures was leaked from their west coast outing where they were seen laughing together and cuddling inside the 'Aquaman' actress' 1968 Mustang. On January 18, the two attended the 2020 Women’s March in Los Angeles and were seen holding hands again on February 7 at the WME Pre-Oscar Party in Los Angeles.
The 38-year-old cinematographer is known for her work on 'Hank and Asha' (2013), '6 Souls' (2010) and 'The Proprietor' (2013). She also worked on the hit VH1 series 'Love & Hip-Hop: Atlanta' and a variety of films, including 'Eyes on the Moon' and 'An American In Texas'. A set decorator, she even runs her own production company, Red Ink On Film.
Butti has been battling cancer for a long time now and last June, she took to Instagram to post about her struggle with breast cancer for the second time after beating it earlier. "I lived cancer-free up until about 2 months ago. Unfortunately, I have been diagnosed with breast cancer once again. Same breast. New tumor," she wrote. To help her with the treatments, her friend set up a GoFundMe page to raise money for the medical costs and it has already raised more than $18,000 of its $60,000 goal.
Calling her "most beloved, kind, generous, and big-hearted," her friend Kiana Reeves wrote, "she is tremendously courageous and brave - and her thoughtfulness is what lead her on a healing path that brings together both traditional western oncology and the best holistic support and cutting edge cancer treatments. To know Bianca is to love her, and if you want to do anything to support please donate and please share this fundraiser as widely as you can."
Braving the storms of life, Butti has been resilient through her fight with breast cancer. “In order to reach a place of real healing and repair of the body, one must be completely relaxed,” she wrote in one of her captions on Instagram. “It’s amazing how difficult that can be! Working on that in a serious way. Meditation helps. Exercise helps. Beautiful landscapes help. Feeling supported by loved ones helps. Coming at it from all angles.”
