Amber Heard denies pooping on bed, rep suggests it actually reflects Johnny Depp's 'abusive sense of humor'

'As the evidence in court showed, Mr Depp discussed committing such a prank for years beforehand and it plays to his lavatorial and abusive sense of humor,' a rep for Amber Heard said

Amber Heard has denied the allegations made by her former husband, Johnny Depp, that she had defecated on their marital bed back in 2016, which according to him was the last straw in their marriage after which he decided to file for divorce.

The 'Aquaman' actress' rep told New York Post that the accusation brought on by Depp of Heard pooping on their penthouse bed as a "prank" after her 30th birthday party on April 21, 2016, following a huge fight between the two, was completely inaccurate. The rep went as far as to suggest that the 'Pirates of the Caribbean' actor himself could be the perpetrator as he had suggested carrying out a similar prank before.

"This accusation is completely untrue and has been designed purely to humiliate Ms Heard,” a spokesperson for Heard said. "As the evidence in court showed, Mr Depp discussed committing such a prank for years beforehand and it plays to his lavatorial and abusive sense of humor. Mr Depp's team is trying to grab headlines – at the expense of the truth — and distract from the serious, central issue of this case: the perpetration of domestic violence."

Heard's denial came after a text sent by Depp to his then-assistant Stephen Deuters in October 2013 was revealed in court during the ongoing libel trial against the publishers of The Sun and executive editor Dan Wootton over a 2018 article which referred to him as a "wife-beater". "Will you squat in front of the door of the master bedroom and leave a giant coil of dookie so that Amber steps in it and thinks that one of the dogs, primarily Boo, has a major problem… It'll be funny!!!" Depp wrote.

The celebrity couple had two Yorkshire terriers at the time, called Pistol and Boo. Back in April, Heard claimed that the excreta found had been left there by their dog Boo. A source shared, "Boo has some serious bowel control issues. There was never a joke, it wasn't something done to be disrespectful. It was an innocent thing, it's what pets will do. We don't have anything else to say. Ms Heard is moving on and we do not want to engage in this nonsense."

On Tuesday, July 14, photos of the feces were submitted to the British court. Housekeeper Hilda Vargas described in a written statement how she discovered the feces and even took photos because she was so disgusted. She said that she arrived at the former couple’s penthouse around 3 pm the day after the party and while cleaning up, heard another cleaning lady calling to her in horror from the bedroom.

"She was pointing to the bed and told me that she couldn’t believe what she had found," Vargas said, referring to the other maid. "I pulled back the top sheet on the bed and saw a large pile of feces. I was horrified and disgusted. It was clear to me that this was human feces. I knew that the feces could not have come from either of Mr Depp's or Ms Heard's two small dogs. I have cleaned up after those dogs many times, and their feces are much smaller. Further, I have never known those dogs to defecate in the bed. Those feces were fresh… from the night or from the early morning."

Vargas had worked in Depp's LA house for more than 30 years. She said that the incident showed "a lack of respect".
