Is Amber Heard lying about her dress? Johnny Depp fans shame actress: 'She lies about literally every detail'

Fans suggest that the dresses are completely different and just one of the many untruths of an actress who 'lies as easily as she breathes'

Amber Heard posted a couple of photos of herself wearing a black dress, four years apart, on Wednesday, March 31, but social media thinks there's more to it than what meets the eye. The actress captioned the photos with a strong, simple statement: "One dress, four years apart. Sometimes it's important to wear the same thing twice".

The pictures are significant as the first photo is of Heard on the day she filed domestic abuse allegations against actor Johnny Depp, to whom she was married at the time, in 2016, clearly showing the bruise visible on her face. The second one in the two-photo post showed Heard wearing the same black dress, with a red Covid-safe face covering. It was shot at the time she went to testify against Depp in the libel case. The photo was clicked in November 2020. She posted the comparison just days after the 'Pirates of the Caribbean' actor lost his appeal against a libel case he had lost to the Sun last year. However, the Internet is of the view that the second dress has ruffles and that that the hemlines of the two dresses are different.

'Not the same dress '

The Internet, however, has found certain discrepancies with the photos and is accusing Heard of 'lying about the dress'. Some talked about how Heard has gained a few pounds and has still managed to rather effortlessly slip into the old dress she wore over four years ago.

"@realamberheard you need to drop a few pounds by exercise, not by having a liquid diet, ruining your metabolism further. Your suit is literally visibly smaller than your dress size," noted one. Another Twitter user noticed ruffles on the new dress and declared them different. "Amber Heard posts poignant instagram photo as Johnny Depp loses "wife beater" lawsuit. This is not the same dress, do your research when u write an article. She put on pounds and can’t fit in the dress! Also there was no ruffle on original dress! She lied u bought it!" they said.

 

Is Amber telling the truth?

"I keep getting articles saying amber heard shares STAGGERING evidence against Johnny depp and its just her wearing the same dress 2 years later like is that the best she has," said another.

"It's not the same dress, just another lie from her to gain attention.Nothing can erase the fact the world has listened to the recordings of Amber Heard admitting to repeatedly assaulting Johnny. Doesn't take a genius to figure out who was abusive. The truth is on Johnny's side," said a third.

Amber Heard 'copying' her perpetrator?

A netizen trolled Heard by saying: "Looks like someone learn how to limit replies. Oh by the way... The same pimple, four years apart. Does it come with the black dress? Nice look! #AmberHeardIsALiar #AmberHeardIsAnAbuser #JusticeForJohnnyDepp."

Another brought up how she also has been allegedly copying a bunch of her ex-husband's looks. "@realamberheard is sick in the head. Who the fuck copies the dress of their “ perpetrator”. She is obsessed with JD because she knows she will never have him back and she will never have that opulent lifestyle again," they said. "@Eve_Barlow you didn’t look closely at @realamberheard‘s latest Instagram before commenting. That ain’t the same dress. She really does lie as easily as she breathes. Clearly different weight material and in wider shots than she chose very different hemlines," said another.
