'All American' left fans on a mournful note after Spencer James got shot by a bullet in Season 2 Episode 10 titled 'Protect Ya Neck'. With all the chaos revolving around relationships, drug abuse, racism, and rivalry among gangs, the series is heading towards a dark path.

With all the ruckus in the characters' lives, there is much stake in the next episode titled 'Crossroad'. For Spencer, it is a time of trouble and everything seems to be changing. In a 10-second promo for next week, Spencer's friends can be seen rushing him to the emergency room. A narration plays in the background that says: "It's love that lifts us out of the dark. Some people try to take you out. You gotta hold on to those that give us life and love to the fullest."

Well, that's not all. At the hospital, a surgeon says, "His lungs are collapsing." Will Spencer live to see another day or will the showrunners pronounce him dead?

The summary reads: "With Spencer in bad shape, Grace, Billy, Laura, Olivia, and Layla rush to his side; Spencer asks Coop to do him a favor, but somehow things go from bad to worse; Jordan and his teammates help Billy while he tends to other matters."

Fans can't stop wondering what's next for The CW show. "All American did not have to make me cry like this with that ending and the promo for next week... my feelings are hurt (still love this show though)," one tweet read and another said, "The way Olivia was crying, the promo? yeah yeah, that was worse than I expected." Another viewer wrote, "Wow I haven’t seen the episode yet but damn they shot my boy. Come on man, he gotta make it out this jam and come out strong."

Directed by Ryan Zaragoza and written by Robert D. Doty & Lorna Osunsanmi, the episode will air on February 3, 2020.
