LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: The 'Goddess of Pop,’ Cher, made her relationship with music executive and rapper Alexander Edwards official via a post on X (formerly Twitter) on November 6, 2022.

Edwards, who is friends with rapper Tyga and is a senior executive at Rihanna’s label Def Jam, has a net worth of approximately $2 million as of June 1, 2023, according to Celebrity Net Worth.

Edwards also shares a son, Slash Electric, from his 12-year relationship with model Amber Rose.

The 77-year-old singer and her 37-year-old boyfriend have a whopping 40-year age difference between them.

But that didn’t stop the two artists from engaging in a romantic relationship about a year ago.

In a conversation with Joanne Hegarty of Daily Mail, the multi-award-winning singer and all-time icon revealed that the two first met during Paris Fashion Week in 2022.

Cher revealed, “It was during Paris Fashion Week last year. My Turkish friend Nebie saw his teeth (which are diamond-studded) and said, ‘Cher, go ask him about them.’“

After hesitating for a bit, Cher did finally get the courage to go up to Edwards and said, “Beautiful grill you’ve got.”

“These are my real teeth,” Edwards replied.

Cher responded by saying, “Woah – you’re committed to have them drilled!”

Edwards acquired Cher’s contact number from a mutual friend after she’d left the event.

Later, when she traveled to Germany for a couple of weeks, Edwards was texting her the entire time.

“I like the way he makes me feel. He has so many qualities – he’s intelligent, kind, funny and very talented,” Cher said about her boyfriend.

Asked whether she’ll marry again, Cher said, “I don’t think so. Not because I wouldn’t love someone enough – I just don’t think I need to be married.”

She added, “Alexander gave me this (pointing at the triangle-shaped diamond ring on her middle finger). We are not gonna be married, but he gave me this ring to show how he feels about me.”

Cher’s new album, titled ‘Christmas’, is now out on Warner.

This is Cher’s first festive album featuring guests including Stevie Wonder, Tyga, and Cyndi Lauper.

She added that Edwards produced a track on the album and that she was overjoyed with how all of the songs turned out in the end.
