Alec Baldwin's wife Hilaria suffers miscarriage four months into pregnancy, second in less than a year
Alec Baldwin's wife Hilaria has suffered from a miscarriage around four months into her pregnancy.
The 35-year-old took to social media to share the upsetting news on Monday, November 11, and revealed that she had gone for a pregnancy scan when she made the horrific discovery.
The development comes just seven months after Hilaria had suffered a miscarriage.
Hilaria and her husband, Alec Baldwin, 61, have four children together and were looking forward to welcoming a baby girl.
"We are very sad to share that today we learned that our baby passed away at four months. We also want you to know that even though we are not okay right now, we will be. We are so lucky with our four healthy babies—and we will never lose sight of this", Hilaria wrote.
"I'm really devastated right now... I was not expecting this when I went to my scan today. I don't know what else to say," she continued. Her tragic post concluded with a video of her lying in bed being consoled by her daughter Carmen, 6, soon after she told the child the devastating news.
Hilaria shared with her followers, "I told Carmen and took this so I could send it to Alec. I guess this is a good way to share it with you too. I told her that this baby isn't going to come after all... but we will try very hard to give her a little sister another time". In the video, Hilaria can also be seen thanking her daughter for saying she was sorry that she had lost the baby.
Hilaria also shared an Instagram story where she was seen cradling her baby bump along with the caption, "Today didn't go as planned. I'm very sad. Tonight is my last night with her... such a strange experience".
In September, Hilaria had revealed that she and Alec were expecting their fifth child.
