Alec Baldwin slams criticism over 'sexually suggestive' caption on pic of son and wife
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Alec Baldwin was disappointed that some individuals interpreted his Instagram caption, which was posted next to a photo of his wife and young son, as being "sexually suggestive innuendo." The 64-year-old actor responded to one of his followers in the post's comments section by declaring, "The US is a country fueled by hate."
Baldwin's controversial comment first read, "The old 'let me give you a back rub' ploy," which triggered a wave of criticism. It was posted alongside a picture of his wife, Hilaria, 39, getting a back rub from their son, six-year-old Leonardo. A person commented, "Imagine being indicted for involuntary manslaughter and the first post you make after the announcement includes a picture of your attention-seeking wife, posed with your young son, and captioned with a sexually suggestive innuendo." A second person wrote, "SexuaIizing children is always so weird but your own child? Yikes." Another person wrote, "That's a pretty f*****g weird comment to make on a photo of your son and his mother," while another referred to the word choice as "disgusting." Many other people begged the father-of-eight to stop being "problematic" and cease using social media at present.

New Mexico law will NOT allow Alec Baldwin to be charged with shooting 'Rust' director Joel Souza
Baldwin reacted angrily to the criticism, writing, "Potato chips to follow," and explaining, "I adjusted the text. I guess because... you know... there is so much of that Reddit trash out there." The Baldwins have been the targets of a number of internet rumors over the years, one of which claimed that Hilaria wore fake baby bumps during her pregnancies.
The Boston-born yoga instructor also received flak recently for trying to imitate a Spanish accent. However, the couple currently have more pressing concerns. Prosecutors revealed earlier that they would charge Baldwin with involuntary manslaughter for killing 'Rust' cinematographer Halyna Hutchins in October 2021.
Hannah Gutierrez Reed, the armorer for the movie who was in charge of the weapons on set, will also be charged with involuntary manslaughter, which carries a possible jail term of 18 months. Baldwin's lawyer referred to the charge as a "terrible miscarriage of justice," while Hilaria recently pleaded the paparazzi to "leave [her] family in peace" wearing an "Empathy" sweatshirt.
