Alabama Barker, 17, shocks Internet with face 'tattoos' as Travis Barker trolled for 'bad parenting'
CALABASAS, CALIFORNIA: Alabama Barker, 17, daughter of ‘Blink-182’ drummer Travis Barker and Shanna Moakler, posted a photo of herself with artificial facial ‘tattoos’ and netizens are ripping her apart! This is not the first time the teenager, whose stepmother is reality TV star Kourtney Kardashian, was caught in a controversy over her posts on her social media handles, with many on the internet criticizing Barker, Moakler and Kardashian’s parenting for her ‘acting out' in the past few months.
The photo of Alabama with her fake tattoos was posted on a fan account, which she reposted on her own. In the picture, the teenager is seen sticking her tongue out as she uses a filter to place a spider below one of her eyes and a web below the other. A cross is seen placed on her tongue. The Sun reports that while the reason why she had taken to posting it remains undisclosed, the post comes at a bad timing as her parents and stepmother have been taking on huge amounts of trolling for their parenting style and allowing their children to make potentially dangerous choices.

Alabama Barker and her dangerous choices
The teenager seems to constantly be under the line of fire as she continues to ignite conversations about her parents and their parenting decisions. Recently, Barker was seen sitting with her feet on the dashboard of her father’s Rolls Royce Cullinan SUV in a video she posted, and the outrage that followed was nothing short of monumental. It also prompted a response from Jessica Jermakian, vice president of Vehicle Reseach at the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety.
“Restraint systems are designed to work best when passengers are seated upright, and the lap and shoulder belt is fitted snuggly on the hip bones and over the center of the shoulder,” Jermakian had said, according to a report by the US Sun. “When a passenger has their feet on the dashboard, they are slouched in the seat, which means the belts are not fitted the way they are designed to be effective, and he or she may get injured in a crash.”
However, this is not the least of the controversies that Alabama Barker has been involved in.
Stories of underage drinking and blunts
Travis Barker and Kourtney Kardashian were dragged through the mud when videos of Alabama, then 16, had emerged, showing her holding and taking swigs of alcohol at a wild party that was for her seventeenth birthday - even though her actual birthday would not be for weeks after.
There had also been shock amongst Alabama’s followers as she showed off her red square nails as she held a blunt. While marijuana is legal in California, the Department of Cannabis Control does recommend that the substance be kept away from children.
