Akon thinks Nick Cannon is living life at its fullest as he recently extended the rapper his full support while discussing his choices. The Senegalese-American singer appeared on ‘The Zeze Millz Show’ and when host Zeze Mills raised the subject of polygamy, he did not mince his words while sharing his views.

Mills asked Akon, “Do you agree with Nick Cannon and his spreading of his seed?” The ‘Bananza’ singer said, “I agree with him 1,000 percent. That’s how life is supposed to be. Why not? He’s rich. He’s responsible. He takes care of every one of those children. And the baby mothers are with it. And they hurt for nothing. And they live comfortably.”

However, the host did not seem to agree as she went on to question him, “What about the kids though?” The 49-year-old record producer retorted, “What about them? [Nick Cannon] is there for every one of them. Nick is there for every single one of those kids. I got nine [children] and I'm there for every one of mine.” On the other hand, Nick Cannon has 11 children from six women, with a 12th on the way.

But when Mills asked, “So every single time, you’re at every single recital?” Akon said, “No, that’s a white man’s thing. Who gives a fu*k about a recital? No, seriously. Listen, my job is to raise my kids, to be responsible, to be understanding, to protect their mother, to give a hand with their father, and to assist with family planning, and to be responsible adults … Now guess what? While I’m taking care of my responsibility to make sure the family has a roof over their head and food, if I have the time to do that and show love, yes, I will do that. But my responsibility is to make sure they grow up responsible and strong.”

The ‘Smack That’ artist also stated, “You can’t expect a man to conquer the world if he’s there with his children.” He rejected Mills' suggestion to have “a few children, which would make it easier for them to join him during his travels around the world,” asking, “Why would you wanna take children all around the world with a man? That’s so womanistic."

"What man do you know is gonna run around with his children? You know how weak that looks? Who does that?” he went on.

Akon’s words did not go down well online as a user tweeted, “What he needs to understand is your kids ain't gonna remember all the money you gave them but definitely remember all the times you weren't there when they needed you.” Another shared, “Why this my first time hearing Akon speak outside his music and i regret it😂😂🤦🏾‍♀️.”

A third wrote, “Thinking important moments in your child’s life don’t really matter like that is wild. You gotta try. Even if it’s something simple like taking them to sports practice or picking them up especially when you’re around, it goes a long way. You don’t, prepare for them to resent you.” Someone else added, “While I don’t mind having as many kids as Nick if I can afford it…why not? I would rather have all my kids under the same roof though. Having all those baby mamas basically ensures they will be scattered all over the place.”
