LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: ‘Ahsoka’ is undoubtedly one of the highly-awaited shows of the year and there’s a lot of excitement among the fans. Viewers have been asking for a trailer for a while now and Disney has finally given what they wanted. The first official trailer for the Disney+ series was released at this year’s ‘Star Wars Celebrations’ in London and it was everything that fans would have wanted it to be.

The trailer of the Disney+ series indicates that the live-action series will follow the animated series ‘Star Wars Rebels’. Ahsoka feels that “something dark” is coming. However, one of the most important sequences in the trailer saw Ahsoka (Rosario Dawson) reuniting with Sabine Wren (Natasha Liu Bordizzo). The reunion between the two characters came years after the tragic disappearance of their friend Ezra Bridger (Eman Esfandi).

Ahsoka meets her longtime friend

Sabine says, “It’s been a while”, to which, Ahsoka replies, “Things have changed.” The clip also confirms that Mary Elizabeth Winstead will be playing the role of Hera Syndulla who is one of the most pivotal characters in the series. She can be seen flying a rocket ship in one of the scenes from the trailer.

The entire clip is filled with action sequences and stunning visuals. However, it seems someone is returning and Ahsoka is not feeling good about it. During a conversation with Sabine, Ahsoka says, “I started hearing whispers about Thrawn's return as air to the Empire.” Yes, she is talking about General Admiral Thrawn, one of the major antagonists in the ‘Star Wars’ franchise. The trailer concludes with Ahsoka holding her white duel lightsabers as she engages in battle.
