Simon added, "Well see there's nothing more frustrating that when you have got talent and you just can't be heard and I promise you tomorrow things are just going to be better and I think you are going to inspire a lot of other people."

"To everyone that was told no. Keep going cause one yes can change your life," the Oakland native said. Dee Dee's mother decided to accompany her daughter to support her during her audition. She wanted to be there for Dee Dee, showing her love and encouragement as she pursued her passion.
