PASADENA, CALIFORNIA: In the second episode of 'America's Got Talent' Season 19, viewers were introduced to Cata and Jay, an acrobatic duo from Brazil, who decided to showcase their unique skills with a unicycle.

Unfortunately, their act failed to impress judges Sofia Vergara and Simon Cowell, who hit their red Xs almost immediately. In fact, all four judges unanimously agreed to give them a no.

Sofia expressed her disappointment, mentioning that it seemed like Cata and Jay were “just starting to do this act."

Simon also commented that he didn't find their performance to be unique or memorable, leading to all four judges giving them a "no" vote. He went on to say, "It just wasn’t special enough."

Unfortunately, Cata and Jay's unicycle balancing act failed to impress the 'AGT' judges, leading to their elimination from the show. This marked the end of their journey on the NBC program before it could truly begin.

Did any act receive Golden Buzzer during 'AGT' Season 19 Episode 2?

During the second episode of 'America's Got Talent' Season 19, two acts stood out by receiving the Golden Buzzer from the judges - singer Liv Warfield and group Sky Elements.

Liv Warfield wowed the audience with her unique blend of rock and soul music, backed by a talented nine-piece band. Simon Cowell was visibly impressed throughout her performance, going from shock to admiration as he watched her command the stage.

Simon praised Liv for her powerful energy and message of perseverance, declaring that her performance was like a "wrecking ball" that hit him in the best possible way. Despite not being able to give her a simple "yes," Simon ultimately decided to hit the Golden Buzzer for Liv, ensuring her a spot in the next round of the competition.

The performers from Sky Elements, known for their mesmerizing drone shows, stunned the judges by showcasing their talent outdoors at night. Using a fleet of 1,000 light drones, they created a stunning display depicting a space shuttle launching into the night sky, soaring through clouds, and ultimately floating among the stars.

The highlight of their performance was when an astronaut appeared in space, followed by a star descending to form the 'AGT' logo. The judges were blown away by the spectacle, describing it as "epic," "like an alien invasion," and "breathtaking."

Simon Cowell expressed admiration for their innovative storytelling and use of music, stating that their performance resonated with audiences of all ages. In a surprising move, Simon hit the Golden Buzzer for the second time, prompting the producers to allow all judges to have two Golden Buzzer picks for the season.
