Adele twerks during comeback tour in London, fans say ‘the whole show was a serve’

Adele made sure her first live concert in five years remains etched in memory for long as she crooned some of her biggest hits from her catalogue

Adele made a thrilling comeback to a live concert as she landed on stage for her BST Hyde Park concert at Hyde Park in London on Friday, July 1.  The ‘Rolling in the Deep’ hitmaker looked stunning in a glamorous black outfit as she belted out her bangers in a show that lasted for two hours. Adele will be coming back for another show at the same venue on Saturday, July 2.
 
The Grammy-winning songstress clearly looked emotional as she said, “My God, I'm back at home!" as 65,000 fans screamed her name. The Brit crooner made sure her first live concert in five years remains etched in memory for long as she crooned some of the biggest hits from her catalog. However, it was the twerking that got the Internet’s attention. The fans loved the cheeky moment when Adele did a little twerk while performing ‘Send My Love (To Your Lover)’.

Several videos surfaced on Twitter over the weekend that saw Adele doing a little twerk as she performed on one of her numbers. The award-winning songstress quickly secured one of the top spots on the trending list as fans could not help but talk about her twerking skills.
 
This is not the first time when Adele showed off her twerking skills. The crooner first got viral for the same when she twerked at one of her shows in London way back in 2016. She even made fun of her twerking skills saying, “I think I just twerked”, quipped Adele, adding, “I can’t do it that well. My whole body has to move.” She joked, “My bum could break my back, it’s so enormous”, as reported by Mashable.

Reacting to Adele twerking in London, one fan stated, “No because Adele doing a little twerk on stage was exactly what I needed to witness tonight #AdeleBST” Another fan posted, “Adele started going out with a black man and she twerking on stage and wearing Jamaican fits. Queen.” One user shared, “The whole show was a serve, especially the twerking.”
