Abby Lee Miller took to her Instagram on June 24 to reveal that she will be undergoing chemotherapy after being diagnosed with non-Hodgkin's lymphoma. The 'Dance Mom' star posted a picture looking right at the camera with a surprised expression.

Fans were quick to send in messages of support as one wrote "get well soon", while another reminded her that "hair grows back". Days after it was reported that the reality star was rushed to the hospital for an emergency surgery for what was considered to be a spinal infection, it was reported that she is suffering from non-Hodgkin's lymphoma. Dr. Hooman M. Melamed, who had also performed the surgery on Abby confirmed the news to People.

“It was not an infection, it was a type of a non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma – it’s a type of cancer,” he said. "We’re getting an oncologist involved and we have to figure out what the next steps are as far as chemotherapy or radiation or more spine surgery. Depending on the tumor type, depending on the sensitivity of the tumor – it just depends on the type but I feel more than yes, she will undergo chemotherapy or radiation.”

While Abby has been sharing updates with her fans on her Instagram, a source close to Radar Online "her business affairs in order" as she is unsure of how her health will turn out following the chemotherapy she is currently undergoing. A source close to the reality star told the website that Abby wants to leave behind something for the people she met in prison and created a strong bond with. “Abby Lee’s deciding who gets what in her will. She made a few friends in prison and she’d like to reward them. It’s a very sad, scary time for Abby Lee. She’s never felt so alone!" the source said.

While she is reportedly trying to stay strong, there hasn't been a day when she had not cried. “Abby Lee’s trying to stay strong but she can’t get through the day without crying,” added the source. “She doesn’t seem to think there’s much hope.” A source previously told the magazine that even though Abby is a strong-minded woman, her diagnosis and treatment do not seem to reveal the results that they had been hoping to get.

“She’s strong, but not good. It’s bad and very aggressive. She is devastated because she has just been released, and now this. She feels cursed," the source said. Recently, Abby was spotted taking a stroll in a wheelchair. The star covered her cropped hair with a grey beanie. This was the first time that the reality star was spotted outside after she announced she was going for chemotherapy
