Feud with Nick Carter
Nick and Aaron were one of the favorite brother duos in the music industry. They toured together for many years, often Aaron singing as the Backstreet Boys’ opening act. However, in September 2019, Nick, along with his sister Angel Carter, filed a restraining order against Aaron. This was granted in November 2019 by the court. His brother claimed that Aaron had confessed to “harboring intentions” of killing Nick’s then-pregnant wife and their unborn child. Nick stated, “After careful consideration, my sister Angel and I regret that we were required to seek a restraining order against our brother Aaron today. In light of Aaron’s increasingly alarming behavior … we were left with no choice but to take every measure possible to protect ourselves and our family. We love our brother and truly hope he gets the proper treatment before any harm comes to himself or anyone else,” reported Page Six.
The 'Dancing With the Stars' singer was ordered to stay at least 100 feet away from Nick, his wife, Lauren Kitt, his children, other family members, and their residence. However, Aaron denied all the claims of his brother. He said, “I am astounded at the accusations being made against me, and I do not wish harm to anyone, especially my family.” He ranted across his social media platforms and said, “I’ll be just fine without them. They need to leave me alone. Michael Jackson told me this was gonna happen, and he was right.”
Through his constant social media rants, he made his personal life a lot more public. Later, he said in another rant, "LEAVE ME ALONE. FOR THE REST OF MY LIFE. IM BEGGING YOU. PLEASE. I haven’t even seen you guys and nick you bullied me my whole life,” he claimed. “And tortured me as a child. And everyone knows it. ITS BEEN PUBLIC. Now you’re scared of the truth," reported Page Six.
In another tweet he said, "All I ask is for my family to leave me alone. This is blood. Not love. I will never be around you and I don't want to be around you. I am the one who said I'm done then you send me this!? Ok. Stop trying to get me 5150'd before I file a harassment suit myself nick I have the $," reported Entertainment Online.
Fear of Conservatorship
Aaron also accused his siblings of trying to get him under conservatorship. According to TMZ, he also believed that his fiance, Melanie Martin, was talking behind him to his twin sister, Angel Conrad. He then tweeted, "I was deceived and lied too, I can't believe she betrayed this way. I gave her the world."
I have the most conniving deceiving family and Melanie has been lying to me the whole time communicating with my twin sister and the family members who tried to put me in prison and who tried to get a conservatorship on me in court. I’m in shocked this is horrible 🥺
