Backstreet Boys singer Nick Carter welcomed his second child, a baby girl, with wife Lauren Kitt on Wednesday, October 2.

The 39-year-old took to Twitter to reveal the happy news to his fans saying their second child is "the most beautiful gift" a father and mother could ever ask for. "We are overjoyed to announce that we welcomed into our family and this world a healthy beautiful baby girl. She came back to us. God is real!" The couple has not made the pictures or the name of the newborn public.

After hearing the news, Nick's 31-year-old brother Aaron Carter seemed to have had a change of heart and apologized to Nick about lashing out at him in a recent public feud.

Nick had filed a restraining order against his younger brother claiming he had threatened to kill Lauren and the pair’s unborn child.

In a tweet addressed to his brother, Aaron wrote, "I’ve been very hurt by the fact that my big brother has not made an effort to be part of my life for a long time so therefore I lashed out & said some hurtful things I did not mean to say. I love my brother. I love my family and all I want is peace and love for everybody."

However, Aaron soon deleted his tweet and Nick hasn't responded to his public apology yet.

When one Twitter user wrote, "Nick's wife just gave birth. Pretty sure he isn't giving a thought to Aaron right now," he answered back, "I WISH THEM THE BEST AND TO BE LEFT IN PEACE ANGEL, NICK COREY, MAYBE WE CAN HAVE A discussion IN A FEW YEARS I NEED SOME TIME. WHAT THE THREE OF YOU HAVE DONE USING THE COURTS AGAINST ME IS NOT FAIR. WHITE FLAG WAVED!!!!."

Nick and his sister Angel have previously expressed their apprehension about Aaron’s "alarming behaviour" and wrote public statements saying their brother needs help.
