Aaron Carter is having a rough time once again as a picture of him on a hospital bed emerged after he traveled more than 2,000 miles from his home in Southern California to Florida to be with his mother, Jane.

Just months after two of his siblings filed a restraining order against him, saying he made abusive comments toward their families, the 31-year-old singer shared an Instagram photo from the Ascension Sacred Heart Emerald Coast hospital, TMZ reports.

When Aaron showed up at Jane's residence in Florida on Thursday, she was "immediately alarmed" at his dangerously low weight at 115 pounds.

In the bedside photo, Aaron appears to be sleeping with his head rested against his hand.

"Mommas gonna take care of you," the caption read, with his bio announcing his mother Jane was his new manager.

At 11.39 am, his mother tweeted from his account, saying she would be handling all of his social media accounts for the time being.

"I’m handlin socials for my son till he recoverers... -mamma jane," she wrote to his 628,000 followers.

Aaron hosted an Instagram Live session with his fans on Friday night as he drove through Florida accompanied by his mother and several dogs to pick up some takeaway from McDonald's.

During the session, he admitted to having a stressful day and quipped that he was weighing just "12 pounds". However, he added his mother was going to get him back in shape in no time.

Aaron shared a cryptic text conversation with his fans four days ago, where his mother pleaded him to "come get me."

"Targeting my mother and her sobriety was the last thing you should’ve ever done. 2,100 miles to go," he wrote in the caption. "ILL BE RIGHT THERE!!! My mother will live with me now until the day she dies. ANY WOMAN OUT THERE THAT WANTS TO BE WITH ME. JUST KNOW THAT. MY MOTHER ALWAYS COMES FIRST."
