Netflix 'A Naija Christmas': 5 things to know about the Christmas rom-com
Netflix is bringing to screens another Christmas watch and this is a bit more special as 'A Naija Christmas' is set to be the streaming site's first Nigerian Christmas original! The Christmas movie looks to be a fun addition to the slew of holiday movies and will be a comedic watch.
With the holidays around the corner, the Netflix movie will see a fed-up mother promise the family house to whichever one of her three sons gets married first. All three of them will indulge in some good old sibling rivalry to introduce ladies to their mom, in order to get the house. Who stars in Netflix's Christmas movie
Rachel Oniga as the mother
Rachel Oniga was a Nigerian film actress who had been active in Nollywood since 1993. Before she entered the entertainment business she worked as a consultant at Ascoline Nigeria Limited, a Dutch Consultant Company. She made her debut with the Yoruba movie 'Owo Blow'. Her works include 'Out of Bounds', '30 Days in Atlanta', 'Power of 1', 'Doctor Bello', 'Rise of the Saints', and more. Oniga's more notable work consists of working in the movie 'Sango' and the anthology drama 'Super story'.
The actress, unfortunately, passed away in July of 2021 owing to heart ailments. She portrayed the lead role of the mother who wants daughter-in-laws in ' A Naija Christmas'.
The rest of the cast consists of Kunle Remi, Segilola Ogidan, Efa Iwara, Linda Osifo, Abayomi Alvin, Mercy Johnson Okojie, Ade Laoye, Carol King, Lateef Adedimeji, Uzoamaka Aniunoh, and Jude Chukwuka.
