If you are wondering that you saw a movie with a similar name recently, then you are absolutely right because the first part of the movie, entitled ‘The Claus Family’, was released on the streaming platform in November 2021, and now the sequel to the amazing Christmas film is also about to release on the platform.

The movie joins the list of Netflix Christmas movies like ‘A Boy Called Christmas’ and ‘A Castle for Christmas’ that have managed to captivate the minds of the people.

The first movie turned out to be a huge success for the makers and the platform as well. They will be hoping to get even better results this time around. Let’s take a look at who’s returning for the sequel.

Mo Bakker as Jules Claus

Born in 2006, Bakker began his professional acting career at the age of 8. He made an appearance in a short film titled ‘August’ and nabbed some eyeballs. Three years later, in 2017, he was once again cast in a short movie called ‘Freedom of Silence’. The child actor made his feature film debut in 2018 with the blockbuster Dutch movie ‘Niet Schieten’. Since then, he has been getting a lot of pivotal roles in various prominent ventures.



 

He made his Netflix debut with ‘The Claus Family’ and now will be seen reprising the role of Jules in its sequel. 

Jan Decleir as Noel Claus

Probably the most prolific name working in the Dutch entertainment industry right now, Jan Decleir, has given numerous award-winning performances in his career spanning over five decades. Although he made his acting debut in 1966, he received his first major acting role in 1971. He went on to star in the movie ‘Mira’. Since then, he has appeared in countless Flemish and Dutch films and TV productions.

He has also starred in movies like ‘Karakter’ and ‘Antonia’, which went on to receive the Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film. The actor has worked in over 140 projects during his illustrious career and won several accolades for extraordinary performances. 

Bracha van Doesburgh as Suzanne 

Born on September 2, 1981, Bracha van Doesburgh is one of the well-known Dutch actors in the world right now. Doesburgh studied theatre in Amsterdam and began acting in 2004. She received her first major acting role in 2005 with the movie ‘Too Fat Too Furious’. Since then, the actress has made appearances in a wide range of Dutch ventures. The actress has received three Golden Film accolades at the Golden and Platin Film Awards in The Netherlands.



 

‘The Neighbors’, ‘Lovin’ Amsterdam’, and ‘All You Need is Love’ are some of the projects she has appeared in.

Eva van der Gucht as Gunna

Gucht graduated in 2000 from the Amsterdam Theater and Drama Academy and was selected to star in the film ‘Everybody’s Famous’ which was nominated for an Oscar in the best foreign feature film category in 2001. The aforementioned title helped her in getting the recognition she needed to have a solid career. Since then, he built a multi-faceted international career both in film, television, and theater. 



 



‘Snowfever’, ‘S1ngle’, ‘Walhalla’, ‘Connie & Clyde’, ‘Hunter Street’ and ‘Annette’ are some of the high-end projects that she has been a part of.
