LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Travis Kelce, 34, Kansas City Chiefs tight end, and Taylor Swift’s boyfriend on the 'New Heights' podcast, shared with his brother Jason Kelce, also an NFL star of Philadelphia Eagles, numerous details from his first trip to South America.

Travis’s partner, the 12-time Grammy award-winning singer-songwriter, Taylor Swift, 33, resumed her record-breaking ‘Eras Tour’ on November 9, with three shows at the Estadio Monumental (River Plate Stadium) in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

However, the weather conditions forced the hitmaker to postpone a concert, which Taylor didn’t take lightly.

“She wasn’t too happy about it obviously. She kind of prides herself on performing through weather or rain and things like that,” Kelce, 34, said on the latest episode of his podcast.

“But when it’s unsafe to her and her crew and everybody in the stadium you gotta do what you gotta do.” the NFL star revealed.

What did Travis Kelce say about his experience in Argentina?

Taylor Swift's concert, initially scheduled for November 10, was postponed to November 12 due to bad weather.

However, the change of plans turned out to be a blessing in disguise for the new couple, who had a delightful dinner with Swift's father, Scott, at a restaurant in Buenos Aires.

Travis told his brother on the podcast, “I was there two nights. Yeah. Got down there hoping that I was going to see Taylor's first or I guess second show but it got rained out.”

He continued, “Really. It got thunder and lightning-ed out. It got postponed because the entire stage is an LED screen so lightning and electronics don't mesh very well.”

Jason was quick to interject, “Or water. Yeah, there's a lot of things that aren't mirroring up very well. Sounds like a labyrinth of issues there.”

Travis acknowledged and added, “She wasn't too happy about it, obviously. She kind of prides herself on performing through weather or rain and things like that, but when it's unsafe to her and her crew and everybody in the stadium, you got to do what you got to do.”

He explained, “It wasn’t canceled, it was postponed as she noted, and you know what, I think everybody was accommodated for whoever missed on Friday to go on Sunday. And sure enough, I think it ended up being perfect, everybody got to go.”

Despite teasing that he was going “somewhere sunny” on last week's podcast, the Kansas City Chiefs star's first time south of the equator proved to be rainy.

However, the trip had many redeeming aspects for Travis like on Saturday night, when Swift concluded her concert with a bang by running offstage to meet her boyfriend, where the two embraced and kissed.

And even though the NFL star attended an 'Eras Tour' concert in Kansas City in July, Travis was struck by the significant number of Taylor Swift fans who had gathered at the Estadio Monumental to see her perform.

The sheer size of the crowd was impressive, and it spoke to the immense popularity of Swift's music.

“I think it was north of 65, like 70,000 (people),” Travis revealed to Jason, who then promptly replied “Jesus.”

Travis could not help but marvel at the level of enthusiasm and energy displayed by the Swifties in attendance.

“Three nights in a row. It’s crazy how many sold-out shows she has,” he added.
