'90 Day Fiancé: What Now?': Corey gives Evelin ultimatum for a wedding, says he has trust issues with her
Evelin Villegas and Corey Rathgeber's relationship was filled with ups and downs when they first appeared on 'Before The 90 Days'. The season ended with the big question mark above their wedding plans as it seemed like Evelin was not too keen on getting married. While the two have been dating for five years now, Evelin seemed hesitant to agree to the long-term commitment of marriage.
In the latest episode (May 4), Corey questioned where he stood with Evelin in the relationship. While he was in the US, Evelin had been living in Ecuador. Evelin had made it clear that she had no interest in moving to the US but Corey also had trouble moving his entire life to a new place when he wasn't sure if Evelin was ready to get married.
Corey decided to call Evelin to ask what she had been thinking about marriage. While Corey seemed in a hurry to get married, Evelin hinted that she is busy with her life and was having fun with her friends. She revealed she had been hanging out with her friends and was not thinking about marriage.
He admitted that he was having trust issues because he thought his friends were influencing their marriage. Corey told Evelin that she had been in control of things for a long time and he wanted her to take him seriously. He admitted that he was looking forward to getting married and if she was to walk out of the wedding, he is ready to walk out of their relationship.
Evelin did not seem happy to hear this as she thought Corey was trying to give her an ultimatum. She made it clear that the relationship would not work out if Corey gave her an ultimatum to do something that she was not even thinking about.
She further revealed that she would not say yes if he puts an ultimatum to the idea of getting married. The conversation ended with Corey being tight-lipped. While it looked like he is all set to marry, we wonder if his request of putting a date on their wedding has made Evelin question their relationship.
