Melyza and Tim thought their relationship was the perfect story to have a happily ever after but few months into it, things have changed. Melyza, who dreamed about walking down the aisle and marrying Tim, was shocked to find out that he had cheated on her. The couple was set to start a new chapter in their life when she found things to be fishy on Tim's social media page.
When she finally confronted him, Tim confessed to cheating on her and their relationship came to an end. However, after a couple of months and several apologies by Tim, the pair decided to give their relationship another chance. Tim knew that this was the last chance for him to get Melyza to start liking him again. To make sure he was able to win her again, Tim decided to move to Colombia.
While he was convinced this might be that one chance he was looking for, one thing he did not expect was facing Melyza's mother who knew about Tim's infidelity. Melyza's father, on the other hand, was looking forward to welcoming Tim with open arms. Talking to Melyza about Tim, her mother questioned how serious was he about the relationship and if she could trust him again.
While Melyza thought Tim was deserving of a second chance, her mother did not seem pleased with the answer and questioned if the mistake would be repeated a second time. Once Tim arrived in Colombo, it was almost like Melyza's words were taking the form of reality. Melyza and Tim could not seem to get past what had happened as she had several questions about what led to the cheating. Tim tried to explain that it was a moment of physical desire and that he could not control it.
Hearing these words left Melyza disappointed and she thought Tim was being selfish. The worst of Tim's worries came alive when he finally met Melyza's mother. Tim apologized for what he had done and tried to assure her that he would take good care of Melyza. Her mother did not seem impressed and questioned him for having cheated in the first place.
