90 Day Fiancé's Paul says Karine put broken glass in his food, claims her friends have been threatening him
Paul Staehle and Karine Martins recently had a fallout after which he filed a protective order against her. People started noticing trouble in paradise when Paul took to his social media and claimed that Karine was missing. It all started when Paul live-streamed their fight on social media and asked Karine not to take their son away.
The fight reached a point where the cops had to interfere. Paul further revealed that Karine had filed a case against him that alleged she has been a victim of marital rape. While Karine was soon found, things have not been good with the couple. The pair have been reportedly staying away from each other, but that has not put an end to their fight.
In the court documents obtained by US Weekly, Paul alleges that Karine put glass in his food. “I previously found glass in my food,” the court documents read.“I found similar glass shards from an item she broke.” Days after this happened, Paul alleges that her “friends have been calling me, threatening to come to my home and kill me. They requested I pay them $10,000 or I would never see my son again.”
Paul has also made claims that Karine was not taking good care of their son, Pierre as under her observation, she allowed him “to run in the street [and] get into chemical cabinets.” He also alleged that Karine "assaulted" him and to prove his innocence, he stated that there was footage from the security camera that could work in his favor.
The court documents further noted Paul stated that "I fear for my wife’s safety and mental well-being. I fear for my son’s safety.” Due to this, a judge ordered Karine not to communicate with Paul and be 500 feet away from him. Paul and Karine had problems ever since the two got into a relationship.
The two struggled to be on the same page when it came to their relationship and often fought due to differences. The pair have been appearing in the latest season of 'The Other Way' and they have been struggling to appreciate each other as parents. The show saw Karine coming to the US with Paul, but having a hard time adjusting to the new change.
With Paul out of a job, she seemed hesitant to stay in the country. Looking at where these two stand, it is hard to anticipate if they would be appearing on the tell-all episode of the show. Paul has opened up about the incident on his social media and admitted that he had done everything in his power to make the relationship work. "It truly breaks my heart it has come to this,” he wrote on his Instagram Story. “I have bent over backward. I found work. Got a new home. A new car. Let her buy anything she wanted. I did the cooking cleaning laundry and took care of Pierre.” He had further hinted that they are expecting another child while adding that Karine needed mental help.
“Her motion against me with false allegations is for a 3-year restraining order against me and both my children. Alimony and child support,” he alleged. “But I cannot see her or my children at all.”
