'90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days': Fans compare Memphis, Hamza to Brittany and Yazan

Leaving your life behind to travel across the world to meet the person you love sounds romantic...in theory. But as we all know, life is not all sunshine and roses. For Memphis, who is all set to marry the love of her life, Hamza, their cultural differences might just prove to be a rather big issue.

For Hamza, who is from Tunisia, there certainly seems to be a lot of restrictions regarding intimacy before marriage. While he doesn't see the issue, he also shares a home with her mother and sister. Although they have been forthcoming about his relationship so far, his mother is not okay with him sharing a bed before marriage. As Memphis makes her way to Tunisia, their situation resembles that of '90 Day' alum, Yazan and Brittany. As fans saw, that relationship went sour fast. Will Hamza and Memphis suffer the same fate?

Both Hamza and Memphis struggled heavily with their language barrier right off the bat. Hamza is not fluent in English, and Memphis does not know Tunisian Arabic. With the couple off to a rocky start, fans seem to worry it will only be downhill from here.

"Hamza and Memphis' first meeting went well, but the language barrier could be a big issue for them moving forward! #90DayFiance #90dayfiancebeforethe90days" noted a fan. "I can't tell if Hamza isn't feeling Memphis, or if it's just the language barrier  #90DayFiance #90dayfiancebeforethe90days," said a fan. "Hamza may not speak English but his facial expressions are speaking VOLUMES!!!! #90DayFiance #90dayfiancebeforethe90days" agreed a fan. 

Hamza eventually broke the news to Memphis that they would not be sharing a bed during her entire trip, as it was against his traditions. Memphis was not thrilled to hear this, seeing that she was under the impression they would be intimate. For her, seeing that she was determined to marry him, being intimate with him prior was essential. Fans found the entire exchange absurd.

And while Hamza and Memphis certainly seem like a milder version of Brittany and Yazan, fans couldn't help but compare to him another '90 Day' alum, Zied. The only difference here is that Zied eventually became a fan-favorite, and the same certainly can't be said for Hamza just yet. "Hamza is a slob unlike king Zied. We all know he work in the coffee, he work in the retail, he work so mach work #90dayfiance #90dayfiancebeforethe90days" joked a fan. "They can try all they want with Hamza but there is only one Tunisian man for me. Nothing anyone can do about it. #90dayfiance #90dayfiancebeforethe90days" noted another.
