From actors like ‘Yellowstone’s Kevin Costner to ‘Modern Family’s Sofia Vergara, and pop stars like Britney Spears, there are numerous stars who are going through separations.
Ariana Grande
Ariana Grande first sparked concerns about her marriage after she was spotted without her wedding ring during the Wimbledon men's final. Later in July, an insider told TMZ that she and Dalton Gomez, who tied the knot in a very private ceremony in May 2021, are "heading for divorce."
Britney Spears
Sam Asghari filed for divorce from Britney Spears citing "irreconcilable differences" on August 16, 2023, over a year after getting married to the Princess of Pop in June 2022. Spears said that she was "a little shocked" at Asghari's decision to end the relationship after six years, per BBC.
Sofia Vergara
'Modern Family' star Sofia Vergara and her husband Joe Manganiello, who got married in 2015, are headed for a divorce after staying married for seven years. Per BuzzFeed, the couple “made the difficult decision to divorce" and filed for it in July.

Natalie Portman and Benjamin Millepied met during the filming of 'Black Swan' in 2009. After 11 years of marriage, the couple has allegedly separated, per Us Weekly. This came after a rumor about Millepied's affair with a 25-year-old climate activist surfaced on the internet.

Two-time Grammy-winning singer Ricky Martin of 'Livin' la Vida Loca' fame and his painter spouse Jwan Yosef, who got married in 2018, decided to split in July 2023. In an interview with People, Martin said, "Jwan and I will always be family. We have two children together that we will raise together," before adding, "This didn’t just happen. We’ve been planning this situation for a long time now — pre-pandemic."
Billy Porter
'Pose' star Billy Porter and Adam Smith filed for divorce in July 2023, after six years of marriage. The couple, who got engaged at the end of 2016, exchanged vows on January 14, 2017. Porter's representative Simon Halls said in a statement, “The decision was an amicable and mutual one and was made after much consideration,” per People.
