WASHINGTON, DC: President Joe Biden's gaffes just don't seem to stop. In yet another blunder during a speech in Philadelphia Friday, October 28, the commander-in-chief claimed he had been to "54 states" as he rallied for embattled Democrat Senate candidate John Fetterman.

The 79-year-old POTUS gave garbled remarks about how his administration had improved healthcare and that "we went to 54 states" to stop pharmaceutical companies from driving drug prices, according to The Daily Mail. Biden's addition of four non-existent states is the latest in a long line of gaffes that continue to fuel concerns about his mental fitness, especially considering he's the oldest President in US history. Nonetheless, the Delaware Democrat has insisted he wants to run for a second term in 2024.

"And, by the way, if they do, that means — not a joke, everybody; that’s why we defeated it in 2018 when they tried to do it. We went to 54 states," Biden said at the campaign event on Friday, October 28. "The reason is people didn’t realize that the only reason anybody who has a pre-existing condition can get healthcare is because of that Affordable Care Act."

Social media had a field day with Biden's latest blunder. Colorado Republican Rep. Lauren Boebert tweeted, "Joe Biden now says there are 54 states. I guess if you count the states of denial, confusion, delusion, and disaster that his Regime has caused he just might be on to something." Comedian Rob Schneider wrote, "Biden says there are 54 states in America. Next speech he will explain the 81 million votes…" Country singer John Rich added, "I think Joe was just speaking into the future, acknowledging 'New California' 'Northern New York' 'Southern Illinois', and 'Eastern Oregon.' #54States."

Students for Trump founder Ryan Fournier offered, "Joe Biden apparently thinks that there are 54 states. This guy is completely senile." Journalist Collin Pruett joked, "Inflation is so bad it’s impacting geography under @JoeBiden." RealClearPolitics president Tom Bevan went after both Biden and his former boss Obama – who once claimed there were "57 states" in a speech. "Looks like we've lost 3 states since 2008!" Bevan quipped.

The President was joined by both Vice President Kamala Harris and Senate hopeful John Fetterman, who is also facing questions about his own mental health after fumbling answers during a debate with his Republican opponent Dr Mehmet Oz. "So I may not say everything perfectly sometimes, but I'll always do the right thing if you send me to Washington, D.C.," Fetterman reportedly said.

It's worth noting that Biden has made a number of eyebrow-raising gaffes during his tenure. Most recently, he appeared to zone out completely when asked if his wife, Jill, wanted him to run again for the nation's top office.

"I have not made that formal decision but it's my intention . . . my intention to run again. And we have time to make that decision," the President told an MSNBC interviewer. "Dr. Biden is for it?" the reporter wondered, albeit was met with an awkward silence. "Mr. President?" he prodded, but there was virtually no reaction from Biden. He eventually responded, "Dr. Biden thinks that uh, my wife thinks that uh, that I uh, that, that we're, that we're doing something very important." And during a recent Diwali event, Biden mispronounced new UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak's name while speaking about him. He called the Tory leader "Rashee Sanook."
