After reports claimed that Tekashi69 (6ix9ine) be released from prison on April 1, 2020, due to the coronavirus outbreak, rapper 50 Cent took to his Instagram to take shots at Jim Jones, another alleged Nine Trey Blood gang member.

Sharing a screenshot of an old Instagram live broadcast that 6ix9ine filmed following his release from prison for an unrelated case, 50 Cent captioned the post, "Now individual 1 ya gonna have to tell everybody how you were on tape in court on the phone coaching Mel, to super-duper violate shorty but the Feds never picked you up and the charges were Rico & conspiracy Confidential informant."

While he did not take any names, it is assumed that the 'Power' creator and actor was talking about Jim, the "individual 1" is a reference to the 'We Fly High' rapper.

In 2018, a released transcript of a conversation between 6ix9ine's former manager Kifano 'Shotti' Jordan, Mel Murda and an identified person (who many believe is Jones) suggested that the three blasted 6ix9ine for trying to distance himself from Tr3way and suggested they retaliate with violence.

"Now he gotta get violated," individual 1 said, as per the transcript.

"Yeah super violated. Super duper," Mel responded. "Ain't no much he could really do unless he roun around with 100 armed securities all day."

It didn't take Jim long to notice the diss and taking to his Instagram responded to 50 Cent and updated his fans about his jailed protege Mel Murda, who is connected to 6ix9ine federal racketeering case. In 2019, he received over 11 years in prison for his involvement with the street gang Nine Trey, which came months after he had pleaded guilty for narcotics and racketeering charges.

"Melly said he doing super fine You have to watch out for these so call real ones thts routing for rats to come home and wanna see real n***as go to jail," he wrote. "Any n***a th needs to try n tarnish another mans name for personal gain has to b a h** why else would he have my d**k so far down his throat lol pause."
