50 Cent starts beef with French Montana, trolls rapper for Bugatti purchase after ICU stay
American rapper Curtis James Jackson III, known popularly as 50 Cent, trolled Moroccan-American rap artist Karim Kharbouch, better known by his stage name French Montana.
Montana, according to TMZ, was hospitalized in November after experiencing intense stomach pain and an elevated heart rate. He spent nearly two weeks in the hospital (mostly in the ICU), before being released.
Montana then decided to celebrate. He got a brand new Bugatti, reportedly worth $1.5 million, delivered to his home in Las Vegas on Sunday night. As per sources who spoke to TMZ, French wanted the Bugatti in time for New Year's Eve to celebrate the year ahead.
French even shared a video of him getting into the new car on Instagram and captioned it, “FRESH OUT OF ICU WOKE UP IN THAT NEW BUGGATTI!!! LIL GIFT TO MYSELF! FEEL LIKE A BOSS MOVE LIKE A BOSS AND TASTE LIKE A BOSS lol #nipseyblue
Who does 50 Cent fit into the story? Well, he decided to troll the rapper just for the sake of it.
50 Cent, who for Christmas bought himself a 2020 Bugatti Chiron, (estimated $3 million), also took to Instagram and shared a photo of himself on a hospital bed, wearing a hospital gown and surrounded by stuffed animals. He captioned it: “I’m in the hospital so sick of n****s,” adding, “that’s a 2010 Veyron man. you shoulda just got the Uber app on ya phone. it’s 2020 Chiron Man hahaha Put that bullshit back on that truck.”
French, however, did not sit back. He took to 50 Cent’s comments, and wrote: “If you don’t take your jean shorts with ashy knees, and that two tone du rag back to Connecticut to that hunted house ! That u had to drive 2 hours there and back everyday from ny with yo Christmas in Alaska cold a**,” taking a dig, according to Rap-Up, at the fact that 50 Cent sold his 50,000-square-foot Connecticut mansion earlier this year for $2.9 million.
He continued: “Hating on a young n***a that’s a 2 million Dolla Buggatti with no miles collectors item ! Boi u a dinosaur.”
