This action comes as no surprise to Star's followers, as he has been involved in several controversies in recent years. Let us take a look at some of Star's most famous controversies.

1. What happened between Jeffree Star and Tila Tequila?

Tila Tequila and Jeffree Star were once very well known for being active on the social media platform MySpace. In a now-deleted interview, Star was asked if he would live this lifestyle without the Internet. Star replied, "Me and that wh*re, Tila Tequila, are the ones that capitalized on it. Her and I used to be friends, but I am not into people that think they have to be naked all the time. You don't have to prostitute yourself to be successful." These remarks caused a stir at the time, as Tequila herself came under fire.

2. YouTuber talks about using battery acid to lighten Black woman's skin

In 2006, Star came under scrutiny again for a skit in which he joked about using battery acid to lighten the skin tone of a Black woman, which was racist in every form. Star says, "You say black folk cannot wear MAC Cosmetics, and then you splashed acid in her face. Well maybe if she wasn't wearing the wrong foundation color, I wouldn't have HAD to splash no battery acid to lighten her skin tone, girl." The skit can be seen in the video compiled and shared by Daily Motion.

At that time, Dahvie Vanity was accused of sexually abusing underage girls by the band Blood On The Dance Floor. Star quickly wrote on his social media that he knew about these acts, saying, "I'm gonna speak the truth til I die. We saw @botdfmusic Dahvie bring under age girls to his hotel rooms an do sexual things. 100% ILLEGAL." Later in the year, however, Star took to social media again to say he had "so much love" for Dahvie Vanity. The YouTuber caused a stir with his contradictory comments, as people were appalled that he knew about the illegal sexual activities that took place behind closed doors. Moreover, the band member was later accused of sexual assault by 21 women, as reported by HuffPost.

4. Slamming his own fans

In 2016, Star really got into the makeup business. One such fan, whose username was RockyRoadkill, uploaded a video of Jeffree's skin freeze highlighter, which he had purchased at DragCon. When he opened the package, the highlighter fell and broke because it was not taped down. The fan contacted Star customer service, but they said they would not issue a refund if he bought it at an event. In the video the fan posted, he mentions that he is still a fan of Star and does not hold it against him. However, the celebrity YouTuber's reaction was not expected to be so cold. Star said, "Instead of emailing my customer service or reaching out to me personally, you make a slander video? How pathetic. You’re desperate for views and attention. My customer service team would of happily sent you a replacement or refunded you. You failed to contact them. We will be reaching out to YouTube about this defamation."

5. Jeffree Star's long history of racial slurs

Whatever it is, Star has created an empire of followers and income streams over the years. But some of his oldest followers can not get over the fact that he has used racial slurs on one too many occasions. One YouTuber has compiled the moments when Star couldn't hold back. He says, "I win by having diamond rims, and you win by being a poor Mexican." Another clip shows Star walking down the street and abusing a bystander saying, "Shut up you f*****g [N-word]" In another video, Star continues with his racial slurs saying, "You stupid ape I'm gonna spray you. Can you beat that [N-word] up for me?"
