LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Flossing is universally recognized as necessary, yet often overlooked. Flaus, the first eco-friendly electric flosser, eliminates the need to discard floss.

Samantha Coxe, the founder, recently presented her firm on the Season 15 finale of 'Shark Tank' and faced scrutiny from fans for claiming to be the first of its sort in the market. She entered the Tank seeking $250K for a 5% stake in her business.

On Reddit, fans debated Samantha's claims, with one asking, "Aren’t there already dozens of electric flossers on the market?" Another person added, "Maybe although I think the majority of electric flossers are using pressured water streams not floss string."

One person commented under the thread, "Yeah that’s what I was thinking. I felt like I’ve seen this before so I’m confused as to how she’s saying she didnt see any on the market." A fourth user wrote, "I know there are a lot of electric water pick flossers but I feel like I’ve seen a lot of these as well."

One user unhappy with the price, also wrote, "Price is kind of high (my Sonicare electric toothbrush was around $40 so that's the price point I'd want to pay). I don't like that you need to keep buying new floss heads (one time use? Multiple uses ok?)."

Did Flaus get a deal in 'Shark Tank' Season 15?

Who would've thought flossing could be both enjoyable and efficient? The founder of Flaus believed in its potential to be a successful business.

Flaus is the world's first eco-friendly electric flosser that eliminates the need to insert your hands into your mouth. This revolutionary invention was presented to the sharks in episode 22 of season 15 of ABC's 'Shark Tank' with the hopes of landing a partnership to take the brand to new heights.

Since appearing on the show and ultimately securing funds from Candace Nelson, Flaus has garnered increased attention from customers, leading to a significant boost in sales.

What is 'Shark Tank's Flaus?

Flaus was invented with the intention of "helping people keep their teeth for life by transforming daily routines into delightful rituals." Flaus, dubbed "the world's first eco-friendly, super-healthy electric flosser," is distinguished by its ability to clear food and dental plaque between the teeth and around the gums five times more efficiently and faster than conventional flossers.

Interestingly, because it produces an astonishing 18,000 sonic vibrations per minute, you won't have to worry about getting your fingers filthy while using it. Additionally, the soft-touch silicone-made product is waterproof and rechargeable.
