LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Candace Nelson, founder of Sprinkles Cupcakes, made her 'Shark Tank' debut on September 29, alongside Mark Cuban, Lori Greiner, Daymond John, and Kevin O'Leary, who took pitches from budding entrepreneurs promoting low-calorie chocolate, canned wine, herbal soap, and a children's medical accessory.

By the end of the hour, our Guest Shark had completed her first transaction, defeating one of the OGs.

Entrepreneur Kristen Dunning has created a "botanical solution to a growing problem" in the form of a bar soap for people with severely sensitive skin. She joined the Tank looking for $75,000 in exchange for a 10% interest in her firm, Gently Soap.

Kevin and Candace both expressed an interest. Mr Wonderful offered Kristen a royalty agreement — he claimed he'd give her the $75,000 in exchange for 10%, but he wanted $1 for each bar sold until he made back $500,000, at which time it reduces to $20 in perpetuity — but Candace beat him to it.

She accepted a counter-offer of $75,000 for a 25% interest and promised to link Kristen with a friend at Thirteen Lune, an e-commerce site aimed at promoting the discovery of beauty companies founded by Black and Brown entrepreneurs.

This is Candace’s first deal in the Tank.

Kristen Dunning founded Gently Soap in Athens, an award-winning brand of herbal soaps for those with sensitive skin.

Dunning founded the firm after she battled Seborrheic dermatitis, sometimes known as scalp eczema.

Candace Nelson is the creator of Sprinkles Cupcakes, as well as CN2 Ventures and Pizzana.
