The sixth episode of 'Pennyworth' Season 3 was filled with unpredictable scenarios that has left viewers stunned. Episode 5 'Rhyme n Reasons' focused on several small plotlines. And it led perfectly to the sixth episode, 'Hedgehunter,' which focuses on the three important situations that had some unexpected concluding scenes. Creators Bruno Heller and Danny Cannon should take a bow as all the fans hail this episode to be the "most darkest episode of 'Pennyworth.'"

This episode had all the characters of the series bringing YNW Melly’s song, ‘Murder on my Mind', come to life at least in the reel life of ‘Pennyworth'. Jokes aside, this episode had some unpredictable death scenes of some of the main characters. While some are raving about the reference from the life of Bruce Wayne's, other are just shocked with the ending although they are low-key loving the "Wayne family drama." Regardless Alfie 'Pennyworth' is once again seen stranded with his potential short-lived lover, Sandra, walking away after learning the truth.

'Pennyworth' Season 3 Episode 5 Review: Trouble in paradise? Martha feels betrayed by Thomas as she points a gun at him

This season’s episodes have centered on a CIA operation that has been carrying out a particularly risky mission. There has been a hypnotic drug spreading around the city, and many individuals like Thomas Wayne have fallen for it. However, numerous homicides have also been attributed to the substance, but nothing is known about it. Is this why Thomas killed his dad like he was about to kill Martha or was it just unresolved childhood trauma which led to this? We guess viewers will find out after the seventh episode releases.

Regardless, after the episode aired, fans had a lot to say to vent out their emotions after watching the episode. A fan said, "wait wait wait ... so on the closing moments of todays #Pennyworth ... Thomas Wayne shot and killed his dad in an alley in Gotham, just like what happens to him and Martha several years later." Another fan stated, "This was such a great new episode of #Pennyworth and I loved the Easter Egg at the end of Thomas Wayne and his Dad in the alleyway that somewhat foreshadows Bruce and Thomas Wayne." A fan shared, "We love to see the Wayne drama! New #Pennyworth episode out today," while another tweeted, "#Pennyworth F**king Hell!!! Darkest episode of Pennyworth yet! Brilliant but Dark, I don't want to spoil it for anyone but bloody hell there are some tense scenes and even (for me anyway) a real tearjerker. This show is just SUPERB!!"
