KINGSTOWN, MICHIGAN: 'Mayor of Kingstown' Season 3 has started with a bang, and it appears that Iris' (Emma Laird) mysterious past may finally be coming to light.

Throughout the series, Iris has been a mysterious character, with hints and glimpses of her troubled history scattered throughout the narrative. Viewers have long been intrigued by Iris' mysterious nature, and this season may finally offer answers to some of the lingering questions surrounding her.

In 'Mayor of Kingstown' Season 3 Episode 3, Mike McLusky (Jeremy Renner) encountered Iris in jail, referring to her as Jane Doe, a term used when a person's true name is unknown or intentionally concealed.

Later, Ian Ferguson (Hugh Dillon) scans a report and discovers information that Iris wanted to keep confidential, hinting at a deeper layer to Iris's character and her motivations. What shocking revelation from Iris's past left Ian feeling uneasy and apprehensive?

In 'Mayor of Kingstown' Season 3 Episode 2, Iris ignores a stop sign, prompting a confrontation with a police officer. When asked for her driver's license, Iris admits she doesn't have one, leading to her arrest.

In 'Mayor of Kingstown' Season 3 Episode 3, when Mike visits Iris in jail, her reaction is less than enthusiastic. She admits that she thought she could handle the situation independently. Mike advises her to simply give her fingerprints and she'll be released. However, she insists that she cannot give fingerprints.

This indicates that Iris is hiding something, as her hesitance to provide fingerprints raises suspicions about her background or identity that she may be trying to hide. Iris might be avoiding giving fingerprints because they could reveal her involvement in other crimes.

Later, Ian scans a report and uncovers information that Iris wished to keep private. He reassures her that he will maintain confidentiality and promises not to reveal it to Mike or anyone else.

So, what could be in that file? It appears that the contents of the report that Ian discovered and promised not to reveal could be related to Iris' mysterious past or personal life, potentially containing sensitive or incriminating information.

One possibility is that the report contains details about Iris' criminal history, potentially including involvement in a serious crime such as murder. Ian may have promised not to reveal this information to Mike or anyone else in order to protect Iris from facing consequences for her past actions.

Another possibility is that the report contains personal information about Iris' life that she wants to keep private. This could include details about her family, relationships, or other personal matters.

Mike and Ian are familiar with Iris because she worked with Milo Sunter (Aidan Gillen). Her role in Milo's operation may have required her to do things that she is not proud of or that could have severe repercussions if exposed. While working with Milo, Iris may have been involved in criminal activities.

Later in Episode 3, Iris also reveals to Mike that she is acquainted with Konstantin (Yorick van Wageningen) from their past in New York. Iris confesses to assisting in resolving a murder charge against Konstantin, which makes Mike speculate that Konstantin may owe her a favor.

Iris's involvement in resolving Konstantin's murder charge raises questions about her past actions and motivations. Her relationship with the judge could suggest that she was somehow involved in the murder case herself, and her association with the judge was a way to gain inside information and change the outcome of the case in her favor.
