SAN JACINTO, CALIFORNIA: 'General Hospital' star Robyn Bernard died on March 12, 2024. She was found without life when police officers arrived at her home during the early morning hours after they received a death investigation call in San Jacinto, California, according to TMZ. The outlet also reported that the Riverside County Coroner identified her body using her fingerprints.

The official cause of death has yet to be determined but the autopsy is reportedly scheduled to be performed. However, toxicology reports would take several weeks to reveal the cause. According to the reports, the detectives were investigating, but the cop shared that the Foul play was not suspected. The ABC show star was 64 years old.

Robyn was born on May 26, 1959, in Gladewater, Texas. She started performing at a very young age. She used to sing gospel songs with her younger sister, future longtime 'Wings' star Crystal Bernard. Robyn's death came after 'General Hospital' lost legendary actress Jacklyn Zeman in 2023. She died following a battle with cancer at the age of 70.

Robyn Bernard retires from acting after 2002

'General Hospital' star Robyn Bernard made her first big screen appearance with the 1981 film 'Diva'. She later made guest appearances on series 'The Facts of Life', 'Simon & Simon' and 'Whiz Kids'. In the 1980s, she acted in movies like 'Betty Blue', and 'Roselyne and the Lions'. 

Robyn bagged her breakout role in the ABC soap opera, 'General Hospital'. Robyn's character Terry Brock soon became fans' favourite and the actress became a household name. However, the actress' final acting credit was in 2002's 'Voices From The High School' where she played the role of a psychologist. After the film, she retired from the limelight and was believed to have lived a private life in San Jacinto. 

Robyn Bernard was living in a mobile home

Robyn Bernard had been living a quiet life after she retired from the spotlight. However, the actress had been living in a mobile home in San Jacinto. According to reports, Robyn's mobile home was burned down a few years ago. She became homeless at the time. However, Robyn was found dead in the field south of the 7-Eleven gas station on Commonwealth and San Jacinto Ave. Robyn's family members and friends were yet to respond to the actress' death news.

Robyn Bernard was first introduced to viewers in 1984 as Terry Brock, the daughter of one of the show's villain, DL Brock, portrayed by David Groh, in the ABC soap opera 'General Hospital'. The actress played the character for several years. However, Robyn continued to play the character for 145 episodes and the last time she appeared on the show was in 1990.

Robyn was featured in a major murder-mystery plot during her time on the ABC soap opera. The actress' character was misled into believing she had stabbed a man to death before several more people turned up dead.
