'Young Sheldon' Season 4 Episode 4: Why is Paige not on 'The Big Bang Theory?' Fans ask after she punches Sheldon
'Young Sheldon' returned after a two-week break with another fun episode on the boy genius. Sheldon Cooper (Ian Armitage) is all excited about going to Stamp Camp, only to find that it has closed. That just fuels his belief that there is no God. But hey, there's always...Bible Camp! Sheldon's mother carts him and Missy (Raegan Revord) off to Bible camp, where he meets his arch-nemesis Paige Swanson (Mckenna Grace).
Paige is going through a difficult time in life as her parents are splitting up. She's the 'textbook' bad kid as she has taken on smoking, something that Sheldon doesn't quite understand. However, she seems keen on beating Sheldon at Bible trivia. And we know, Sheldon doesn't like being beaten at anything. He prepares the whole night, only to realize that she could give two figs about the quiz. He tries to annoy her in every possible way, but she says there are worse things happening in her life. Finally, he makes a comment about her parents' divorce and she punches him in the face.
While fans liked Paige's character, they're wondering why she didn't make an appearance on the mothership show, 'The Big Bang Theory' as they would have loved to see Sheldon take a dig at her during his Nobel prize speech. Others wished that they could have seen her sock him in the face properly. "#YoungSheldon Sheldon seems to be more obsessed with bugging Paige than knowing everything at Vacation Bible School. Too bad it got the best of him. Would have still liked to see Paige actually hit Sheldon, though," a fan wrote. 'The Big Bang Theory' ended back in May 2018, after a good twelve-year run. The spinoff 'Young Sheldon' airs on Thursdays, CBS at 8 pm.
