Who is Everleigh Rose? 10-yr-old YouTube star’s dad dies at 29, reveals mom Savannah LaBrant

LaBrant, who has spoken openly about starting a relationship with Tommy Smith when they were teenagers, welcomed Everleigh at 19, but soon after their relationship ended

ORANGE COUNTY, CALIFORNIA: In heartbreaking news, Tommy Smith, father of 9-year-old YouTube celebrity Everleigh Rose, died at the age of 29. Her mother Savannah LaBrant revealed the news on her Instagram page on Thursday, September 15 but did not inform the cause of his death. According to his girlfriend Courtney Santaella he died on Friday, September 9. 

Tommy Smith was Everleigh's biological father and Savannah LaBrant's ex-boyfriend. Prior to Savannah marrying Cole, the father of her three younger children, the pair dated on and off from 2012 to 2016. The LaBrant Fam, formerly known as Cole & Sav, is an American family vlogging Channel on youtube from California run by Cole LaBrant and Savannah Rose LaBrant.

Savannah, also a YouTube star posted a beautiful photo of Everleigh with her father, Smith, and wrote, "Our hearts are incredibly heavy as we process the loss of Everleigh’s dad, Tommy. He loved Everleigh immensely. As we navigate through this difficult time we kindly ask for privacy so that our family may continue to love on Ev, pray and grieve with her. Your prayers for Everleigh are so very appreciated."

Courtney Santaella, Smith's girlfriend also wrote on Instagram on September 13 confirming his sudden death, She wrote, "9/9/22 you were taken unexpectedly to be with Jesus. My heart is broken into a million pieces writing this. I feel numb and can’t think of words to say other than I wish this was a horrible nightmare. What I do know for sure is that I would not be the woman I am today without you." She posted a series of their pictures thanking him for the memories and wrote, "You taught me so much and I am forever thankful that you came into my life and that we were able to make so many amazing memories together. I will cherish those and hold them so tightly to my heart the rest of my life. I know you’re dancing and cracking jokes in heaven now. You will forever hold a special place in my heart. I love you so much Tommy."  However, she also did not confirm the cause of his death.

Savannah has been candid about dating Smith when they were both just teenagers. Everleigh was welcomed at age 19. She nevertheless raised her daughter alone over the years because their relationship did not last. She also disclosed that she and Smith had a "very toxic relationship" in a video that was uploaded to The LaBrant Family channel in 2018. To successfully co-parent Everleigh after deciding to end their romantic relationship, the two remained friends. After meeting in June 2016, Savannah and Cole married in July 2017. 

Savannah and Smith's daughter Everleigh Rose, a young dancer is famously known as a young fashionista whose Instagram page has over 4.9 million followers. After learning about her father's sudden death, fans expressed concern on Twitter. One user wrote, "I just found out Eveleigh's bio dad died and I just feel so bad for this child. Her only escape from reality. I hope she's doing ok rn." another wrote, "I DONT CARE ABOUT THE LABRANT PARENTS BUT EVERLEIGH’S DAD DIED?!?! I feel so bloody sorry for her."
