Woman finds VHS tape in her basement, what she saw on it sent a chill down her spine

'The husband secretly hid the camcorder and filmed his wife getting out of the shower and getting dressed – without her knowing,' Anna Zap revealed

NORWALK, CONNECTICUT: A woman, named Anna Zap, found a VHS tape hidden in her basement filmed by a previous homeowner who recorded his wife “naked.” Anna, who shared the details on TikTok, said, “[The wife] never knows the camera is filming her and she’s naked.” Anna then asked her followers what they'd do in the video that grabbed over 1.6 million views. To which, one of the followers said, "Find her! She deserves to know either way."

According to The Sun, Anna, who is a radio host of 'The Anna and Raven Show', found the camera hidden in the wall while cleaning out the basement of her house. In the TikTok video, she said, "Last week, my husband and I found a hidden VHS camcorder tape hidden behind a wall in our basement while we were clearing it out." She then spoke about the house saying, "Our house is old, built in 1938, and there have been a lot of owners along the way," and added, "So we took the tape and a listener called in and said they could convert it for us. We get the tape and we find out that the beginning of the tape is them bringing their baby home. And it’s wild because you can see my front yard and there’s a whole other family, and she's holding the baby and they’re happy and cheering and all that.” However, she then reveals why it was hidden behind a wall and that left many shocked.

In another video, which she also posted on Twitter, she said, “And then there’s the end… which is the reason why it was hidden behind a wall. The father, the husband, secretly hid the camcorder and filmed his wife getting out of the shower and getting dressed – without her knowing. She never knows the camera is filming her and she’s naked."

'Do I destroy the tape?'

She added, "Now here’s the moral dilemma I have at this point – do I destroy the tape? And that’s the end of it? Or I could go to City Hall and find them and see if I could return the tape to them, maybe they want their baby being brought home for the first time. But then she’s going to know that this film of her naked exists…" Anna then again asked her followers, after telling them that the footage is 30 years old, “Do I just let it go and let it live in the walls of history and destroy it?”

'She has the right to know'

On one hand, many told her to “do the right thing," with one saying, "She has the right to know who she married!!!" while one of many said, "Destroy it. The damage it may cause isn't worth it," reports DailyMail. Another said, "If it were me I'd have tossed it in the trash from the statr and went about my day." While one continued to say, "Don't give it to them, give it to her, and tell her that the end of it is of her filmed without her consent. SHE. NEEDS. TO. KNOW."
