LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: In an open letter, a member of a posh Hollywood country club warned the facility's members that a tennis staff member had an affair with her spouse and may be trying to improve her ranking. The unnamed woman, who resides in the gated community connected to Sherwood Country Club, warned others in the area to be on the lookout for the "home wrecker" who's working among them and recognized the employee by her first name and the first letter of her last name.

Sherwood Country Club, which is close to Los Angeles, costs an initiation fee of $125,000 and monthly dues of $2,110. As per reports, it has a long list of famous members, including Will Smith, Sylvester Stallone, Caitlyn Jenner, Wayne Gretzky, Mel Gibson, and Justin Timberlake.

What did the woman say in her harsh letter?

According to insider sources who spoke to Page Six, the letter has sparked a lot of discussion among club members, and management has opened an inquiry. The enraged wife claimed that she and her husband are dealing with his indiscretion "privately," but it is still unknown if she sent a message along those lines to his place of work. The veracity of the woman's allegations against the female employee is also in question.

'HOME WRECKER'

In her letter, the woman said, "To my horror, I recently found out my husband had been romantically involved with one of our tennis club employees," according to Page Six. "I'm letting our community of respectable families and members [know] of this HOME WRECKER who's working among us," she added.

'She has no respect for this community'

The unnamed woman complained in her letter about how she and her family's experience at the club had been ruined because she is now unable to visit without running into the woman. "I'm trying hard to avoid her; keep her away from my children, but she's there," she penned. "She has no respect for this community. I never expected this to happen. We engage and are friendly to employees that work here and this is what happened to our family."

'I'm so sad this happened in my own paradise'

The wife noted that the seductress frequents the local bar and that she has to "see her smug smile" whenever she is there. "We chose this community for many good and healthy reasons but it's been a nightmare. I have to see her in an exclusive club I belong to," the wife stated, as per Page Six. "I'm so sad this happened in my own paradise. My husband and I are working this out privately but I couldn’t remain silent."

Who owns Sherwood Country Club?

Sherwood Country Club is a private gated community realized by David Murdock, an American businessman, and Dole owner. It was constructed on the set of Douglas Fairbanks Sr's 1921 film 'Robin Hood' and is built around Lake Sherwood, California's oldest man-made lake. The 'Robin Hood Cabin' built for the film, still remains inside the country club's gates. Fairbanks is said to have lived there while the film was being made, and it has since been designated as a historic landmark. The Sherwood Country Club (91361), which debuted in 1989 and now encompasses 1,965 acres, is home to over 500 families, keeping with Murdoch's ideal of "a reverence for family, a respect for nature, a love for history and a deep loyalty to high standards of quality," as per Nicki and Karen.

In addition, the club has a PGA course that was designed by Jack Nicklaus. Tiger Woods' tournament, the Hero World Challenge, was held there for several years, and Greg Norman's event, the Shark Shootout, was also contested there.
