A woman's second anniversary dinner celebration with her boyfriend turned into debate after she accidentally ordered a $312 steak.

The couple were celebrating their relationship milestone when he suggested that she order the wagyu sirloin, a typically pricey, top-grade cut of meat. According to the New York Post, she unintentionally ordered a half pound top grade A5 wagyu steak instead.

The video shared on TikTok by @ikingdanihas has gone viral on Tik Tok and has garnered over 2.2 million views and 191,700 likes. In the video, Daniela wrote, “My plate was $312 and his was $48.” In the video, Daniela’s partner jokingly shakes his head as he gives his card to pay for the meal. She said, “I thought he was going to break up with me.” She later revealed that the unfortunate incident was purely an accident.

She said, “I walked out the restaurant crying,” after which, “He [held] my hand while I was tearing up and told me we were going to laugh about it in a couple of months.”

The viral video has received mixed reactions from social media users. Some said that the girl should have also paid since the amount was huge. A TikTok user said, “You should have offered to pay half. That’s a big bill.” Another said, “I would have pressed ‘split bill’ SOOOO FAST.”

Some others had a contrasting opinion, stating that the girl should not be blamed and that it was the server’s fault. A user commented, “The server should have confirmed that’s what you meant to order given the disparity in the dishes.” Another chimmed in, “I’ve been a server and I would have verified in a nonchalant way, ‘I just want to confirm you want the 8oz wagyu that’s listed on page xyz.’”

One user shared their own experience and expressed support to the couple, stating that a similar thing happened to them in the past. The Tik Tok user wrote, “That happened to me too,” adding, “I thought it was $50, turned out it was $50 PER OUNCE!”

Meanwhile, Daniela said the dish that was accidentally ordered wasn't even good and that she didn’t enjoy the meal. She said,“It was the eight slices of wagyu and some tiny leaves on the side with salt,” adding, “Trust me, it wasn’t even good.”

In a seperate incident, a former Wendy employee's video on Tik Tok has gone viral as he exposed his restaurant's revolting kitchen. The video shows the unhygienic kitchen practices at the popular fast food joint. The user said in the video, "This is what y'all been eating off of, look at this s**t," as his camera captures Wendy's cookstove covered with green and white mold. He said, "They don't know how to clean [their] s**t properly." The video has clocked more than 1.2 million views on TikTok since.
