ATHENS, GREECE: In the latest episode of 'Below Deck Mediterranean' Season 9, Captain Sandy Yawn faced a tough situation with charter guests Mahisha Dellinger, her husband John Dellinger, and their friends. The guests were criticized for their behavior, which increased the stress on the crew and created a tense atmosphere on the yacht.

Captain Sandy didn't hesitate to confront the situation directly, making sure the guests understood the impact of their actions and the importance of respecting the crew. This confrontation added an extra layer of drama to the episode, as tensions soared between the guests and the crew.

During a conversation with Sandy, Mahisha's husband John said, "I tell you the stews you have is really really good. They are top notch." Sandy chimed in, “I always say this if you beat character down you are gonna kill the spirit but if you are gracious and thankful you’re gonna build them up, they’re gonna want to do more for you.

“I had a client that spent a million euros on a charter, they were so rude to my crew that I pulled a primary in and I said, ‘I’ll cancel your charter tomorrow if you treat my staff like that again. They turned it around like that because I called the owner and he goes I don’t need the money, let them go," she added.

Talking of her crew, Sandy said, “They’re awesome. I’m happy to have them.” In a confessional, Captain Sandy reflected on the challenges of managing difficult clients and emphasized the importance of maintaining a positive and respectful environment. She said,  “How you treat others is really important. From what Aesha and the other crew are saying to me, these clients are difficult."

'Below Deck Med' Season 9 star Aesha Scott spots changes in charter guests attitude

When the guests returned to the yacht after their excursion to a historical site, Aesha Scott quickly observed a change in their behavior. They were now displaying a more compassionate and considerate attitude towards the crew, showing greater kindness and respect than they had earlier.

"And all of a sudden, the guests came to have this base level of decency, maybe they like reflected and realized how horrible they were and this is their way of saying sorry," Aesha shared in a confessional.
