Who is Mac Royals on 'The Voice' Season 24?
Mac grew up without his father, who was jailed for most of his boyhood, but he found consolation in the strong female figures in his life.
He began playing the violin in elementary school and went on to earn a music business degree at Arkansas Baptist College.
After his father was released from jail, he launched an R&B nightclub, and it was at his father's club that Mac began polishing his live performing talents. Mac relocated to Los Angeles in 2016 to pursue his aspirations.
His friend recorded Mac's performance at the Santa Monica Pier and posted it to Facebook. The video went viral, resulting in collaborations with P. Diddy, André Harrell, and Stevie Wonder.
Mac's beloved grandma died in 2019, and a year later, he lost his father. Mac's music career was halted as a result of these occurrences, and he relocated to Arkansas.
However, one night he had a strong dream in which his father appeared to him, reminding him of their warrior ancestry. This encounter inspired Mac to battle for his ambitions.

John Legend stole Mac Royals from Team Reba on 'The Voice' Season 24 Battles round
After being blown away by Mac's Battles stage performance on NBC's 'The Voice,' John used his steal to add him to his team.
Mac, from Wrightsville, Arkansas, was kidnapped by John when new coach Reba selected her singer, Rachele Nguyen, from Cypress, California, as the winner of their Battles stage duet to "How Deep Is Your Love" by the Bee Gees.
Rachele gave her all during rehearsals, texting Mac anytime she had recommendations. Rachele and Mac were both taken aback by the fact that Reba was their coach.
Reba advised them to keep to the tune of the song since people enjoy singing along. Reba advised Rachele to sing while keeping her eyes open.
Mac previously stated that working as a professional street busker molded his skills by teaching him to focus while surrounded by distractions. After their performance, Niall Horan informed them that they were both wonderful, but he would choose Rachele.
Gwen Stefani couldn't choose between the two. Reba finally chose Rachele to win the battle round.
'The Voice' Season 24 winner will be announced on December 12 at 9 pm ET on NBC.
