Why was LowTierGod banned on Twitch? Streamer deplatformed again
Twitch recently banned yet another streamer - this time targeting the contentious LowTierGod, who broadcasts controversial fighting video games. In the past, LowTierGod has been blocked on a number of websites, including YouTube.
The latest to be banned is his Twitch channel. This ban was imposed on his account just over a month after it rose to fame in March 2023. LowTierGod is a well-known internet figure known for his vicious criticism of fighting games and his overconfident personality and strong reactions.

Why is LowTierGod banned?
Due to his use of a racial epithet to describe the facial traits of a fellow streamer, LowTierGod was probably banned from Twitch. On April 23, 2023, Sparrow was asked in a stream to describe his appearance. While doing so, LowTierGod made the remark that he had "chinky eyes," which he later clarified to be a racial slur. The majority of the time, Twitch prohibits the use of racial epithets, and his response indicates that he intended it to be potentially offensive, win.gg reported.
Is the ban permanent?
This is not the first time that LowTierGod has been banned from streaming on the purple platform. He has been banned from the platform numerous times before, but his indefinite ban was formally overturned earlier this month. After this incident, the staff reintroduced the former loudmouth's ban because he did not abide by Twitch's terms of service. But since the ban is temporary, the website is still available to him, only if he decides to change his ways in the future.
